Vampire Sucks.............SUCKS!
I expected as much. Thanks orginal Scary Movie! Seen one, seen'em all.

At the house it's the good stuff, with watching Road Warrior and Mad Max!

Gone are the days of good spoofs. The last good horror spoof I've seen was There's Nothing Out There from the early 90's. The best horror spoofs are Young Frankenstein, Student Bodies, and Wacko

Oh...my...God. Guys, Kalifornia blew my mind! How did I not know about this movie? Not only were David Duchovny, Juliette Lewis and Michelle Forbes a stellar cast but Brad Pitt is one sick muthucka. Honestly, how has he not won an Oscar? I mean, sure he's sexy as all heII but the way he was in this movie blew me away. He was actually frightening and 100% believable!

I'll never doubt him every again. Now Angie's gotta work some magic because after Salt...I'm less than impressed with her.

I watched Hollow Man last night. It got better about half way through, but I was kind of disappointed in Kevin Bacon.

Re watch:

The Incredible Melting Man Hilariously bad 1970's horror scifi schlock about an astronaut who returns from a trip to Saturn- he's now an oozing dripping flesh eating maniac. Rick Baker provided the effects.

Talhotblond

Watched this on Amazon yesterday and I do recommend it as well. It did not end in the way I thought it was. Very sad story.

Fail ... What am I missing?

I don't place any entertainment value on a 2 hour mediation concerning a negative, socially dysfunctional, egocentric, misanthropic total jerk w/ a misplaced narcissism not anywhere near proportional to his actual street value ...

I did finally enjoy the last 30 minutes of an otherwise waste of time, esp. when he gets high and loses control ...

He just reminds me of people that are mean wastes of space and oxygen, that never contribute and take away the planetary resource much better harnessed by givers ... I detest smooth TAKERS!!!

FEIGNED art for art's sake that doesn't satisfy ...

Similar to the French Eric Rohmer films ... yawn

They never arrive ... At least not to my driveway ... asleep

Piranha 3-D, extremely entertaining update of Dante's '78 flick. Lots of blood and boobs. All the ingredients for a fun b-movie. For the people who didn't like it- not exactly sure what they were expecting from a movie about killer fish terrorizing a lake full of partiers.

The Lovely Bones

I just couldn't bring myself to see this previously, esp. as a mother!

Wow, it was a real touch of masterful narration, being told by the innocent, beautiful victim ...

It tore me up, esp. the scene where all his victims are finally joined in light ...

It is just sickening to meditate on these cruel, beyound evil predators ...

The spiritual process put forth was amazingly beautiful ...

... And as the still living?

Still hurts so ...

I escaped just such a predator at 17, and am much like the sensitive in the film ...

It is CONSTANT work for me not to tune into those victims enduring it RIGHT NOW, the children of war, similarly ...

... tears brokenheart

I hate to say it, but we live in a time where all children need to see this film ... ohwell

Sad thumbs up, tragically so!

The Last Exorcism

Pretty good. Still nowhere near The Exorcist, but I liked how it was done mockumentary style(like Blair Witch), and there was some truly creepy moments- that actress can do some weird things with her body.

Porno Shop On 7th Avenue 1979, one of many Last House On The Left clones that came out in the 70's, but because this was directed by sleaze-meister Joe D'Amato- it takes place in a porn shop. Entertaining.

Yeah, the ending was weak. This seems to happen a lot with current horror movies- their endings are sometimes letdowns.
