Re-watched War of the Roses on HBO the other day.
I'd forgotten how hard they tried to kill each other in that movie.
Doesn't it make you want to get married??

That's a great movie!

I saw The Other Guys last night. Sooooo effing funny. Will Ferrell being his weird azz self, Mark Wahlberg being hot and hilarious. Girls, trust me, what's more sexy than a bad boy with a sense of humour? Probably not a ****ing thing! laugh Seriously I could not stop laughing and recommend it for anyone who likes a damn good comedy.

Tonight... I'm thinking I'll get around to the movie Dan lent me: Kalifornia.

This is one of the few recent comedies that I want to see. I like Ferrell(even his unpopular movies)

And I second Row's comment on Kalifornia.

Speaking of movies with two people trying to kill each other- 2LDK is a Japanese movie about 2 actresses sharing an apartment, when they are both up for the same role they decide to battle it out to the death.
Suburban Nightmare is a low budget flick which is basically War Of The Roses had Turner and Douglas been serial killers. It's a fun little indie horror-comedy.

Talhotblond

EXTREMELY cautionary and TRUE story concerning internet dating scamming and deception ...

This true story is intensely jaw dropping at each turn and twist, just when you think it can't get crazier...

This film is all about what REALLY happened, not movie greatness ...

The story is unbelievable, truth is so much stranger than fiction!!!

Every member of an internet community ought to have it as required viewing before interaction ...

My Grandma had a nephew-in-law that had 5 computers on in a room, all connected to a single forum site at a time ...

He would be 5 different screen names/persons per forum and thread ...

We are exposed to such lies and incredible fraud daily ...

SEE THIS FILM!

Synopsis Of Talhotblond -

Kurt Vonnegut once wrote, "We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful what we pretend to be," and while he penned those words in 1961, they seem especially apt in a time when people can easily create an alternate identity for themselves in cyberspace. Director Barbara Schroeder presents a true-life story in which creating an on-line alter ego has deadly consequences in the documentary talhotblond. Thomas Montgomery, a man from upstate New York with a failing marriage and a dead-end job, found himself spending a lot of time in internet chat rooms, where he told people he was "marinesniper," a rugged eighteen-year-old serving in Iraq. "Marinesniper" began chatting with "talhotblond," an eighteen-year-old girl from West Virginia, and their relationship progressed into cybersex sessions and a proposal of marriage. Eventually, "talhotblond" discovered that "marinesniper" wasn't who he claimed to be, and to get even she began an online relationship with "beefcake," one of Montgomery's co-workers who was on his on-line friends list. In time, the interaction between these characters led to real-life jealousy that ended with gunfire and a murder trial in which the surprising secrets about each party was revealed. talhotblond received its world premiere at the 2009 Seattle International Film Festival, where it won the Grand Jury Prize in the Documentary competition.
