tHE REAL scarey thing about Fox news though is that it leeds people are large portion of america down the path of paranoia and a never never land of made up facts. I see this in all the MSM, not just Faux News.

Infrastructure Minister Diosdado Cabello closed 34 radio stations in July, saying the government was “democratizing” media ownership. Critics say the move limits freedom of expression and has taken critical voices off the airwaves. The powerful Chavez ally has threatened to close over 100 stations in total, part of a long-term campaign against private media that the government says are biased against Chavez’s government.

Fox has the highest ratings in the nation for news far exceeding CNN and MSNBC.The reason for this is simple.They ask the hard questions that most stations don't have the guts to.Fox also in not afraid of Political correctness,taking risks,or offending the general public.This is the way news should be.I think Fox news represents the type of news people want to read about.News that is Pro Military,Pro American,and and gives hope instead of the bleak,boring,America sucks outlook that CNN and MSNBC produces on a endless basis. Yes they have the highest ratings. More American watch Fox than any other news station. That speaks volumes and it's because of the people that Fox has the highest ratings. Fox News ratings pressure the other news stations to report news driving high ratings. I smell fear. LOL! Only the few people who watch faux news think they are the majority. Oh wait, faux lies to them and tells them they are also. Just like the viewers of Communist Network News are the majority. They actually are... they have more overall viewers than Fox. don't believe that

I view people who watch Fox as I would people who watch televangicals or go to tent revivals. Its part entertainment for them and part salvation. Yes they are foolish but in there own way they are just looking for some type of salvation somwere somehow someway. Same here only I view people that watch CNN just lost with their head in the sands.

I watch all the cable networks and I love CNN with Latino and Black in America specials. I support the troops but I'm against both wars. I support the Democratic party like the other 90% blacks in this country. By the way when did Bush every come to the NAACP convention during his eight sorry years of his term. If your to the right that's cool ----stay there!!! If you are to the left----that's cool because the change is coming.

People will watch what they watch because its what they WANT to watch. I dont know why it needs to be more complex than that. High ratings doesnt mean it is better just that it is more popular. This debate is further proof of how significant semantics is to people. What exactly is so much better about being a NEWS organization than a MEDIA outlet or some other all encompassing term. News organization to me makes it sound like news is all they do and Fox doesnt fall under that category,,to me. But in the end, who cares what they are called, ,, if u like it watch it and if you dont watch something else. It would be nice too if people would stop attibuting opinions and words from other people to Obama. It would be nice to hear more about things he has actually said and done himself, not what a press secretary, or friend, or pastor said.

Fox news lies though. It claims to be "fair and balanced" which it obviously is not. So false advertising should be a charge against them by the whitehouse or justice system or whoever. Now if they advertised it as "unfair and unbalanced" there would be no problem..lol
