Obama sees the classical interpretation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights as obstacles to reshaping America in such a way that wealth and resources are "redistributed" in a way that he deems fair and just..

This is the lynch pin of his political philosophy.. America is an unjust nation.. Only remaking it in his own image will make it a just nation.

Nice try, but the only way the modern version of liberalism has been winning in most sections of this country has been to run as conservatively as they possibly can without completely flipping out their left-wing kook base. Once they secure their election by playing the electorate for complete and utter fools, then they can safely return to their extreme liberalism, and rely on the various protections that incumbents enjoy, especially from their buddies in the allegedly "unbiased" media.

Sorry, Thomas, but that's wrong. There was coverage about Obama not attending the anniversary of the Berlin Wall. There was also coverage about him not meeting the Dali Lama.

The reason Republicans lost so much ground on Capitol Hill over the last few cycles is that they abandoned the conservative principles that made people want to vote for them in the first place, choosing instead to use the Democrat method for holding on to power - give as many goodies as you can to as much of the populace as you can, making them dependent upon government (specifically the "representative" in question), and hope that there aren't very many that notice.

Nice try, here too but not correct either. The liberalism that America has been leaning towards lately is in no way extreme liberalism anyway. Nor have any of the politicians voted in been extreme liberals at any level even after getting voted in. And the media bias is a propaganda tool used by the extreme conservatives web and media sites to show a false bias in the media that is not there.

It's amazing to me that so many in our great Country can share their beliefs and viewpoints, when in reality they know little about what they claim to believe.

& that is definitely not one-sided...I know many people who are Republican and many who are Democrat; and over the years it's never ceased to amaze me that when asked one simple question, how many honestly have no idea how to answer it (well, where it makes any sense that is...)

Perhaps the next time any of you are in a debate with someone in person or over the phone about politics - just throw that question out there.

Then prepare yourself for a few seconds of silence; followed by insisting they do not need to respond to such a question; then followed by their breakdown of why they (and generations before) vote as they do.

IM also curious,,what is the REQUIRED number of episodes or length of time that one must view FOX news for their negative opinion of it to be just as legitimate as someone elses positive opinion of it?
