And Jerry! LOL Love it! I've been having some fun in Photoshop recently - dug out some old close-up shots of my eye and played with one that didn't make the final cut. I did the close-up shoot with a togger friend and we must've got through 4-500 frames before ended up with 5 or 6 we liked. It also helped having all his wireless flash gear for fancy lighting. Also, yes, it is all about the DSLR  That lightening shot is grand - I tried at least 30 times to get decent lightening ***** in Spain but never managed it :(

How long does it take to upload photos onto Flickr?
The horse was very friendly and co-operated well. A few minutes later the storm came in. They also had a few tornados touch down, but couldn't see them cause it was too dark. And yes, I would have chased them if I would have seen them...lol Here's a few more. They are almost like a one in the million shot to get. Right place. Right time I guess. I'm glad I got a few under my belt.

I'd definitely recommend a canon, though. Canons the only way to go, although Nikon and some of the other companies also make great equipment. I have an original A1 in mint (never used) condition. I just bought a G10 but soon that will be a G11. |
