I went through a mail course back in the 80's.
I learned a lot, but, getting a job with it was a waste of time.
I would go with a local college if this is something you are serious about.

we all know whats the most important thing in the world.. :( money..
so maybe..my only advice for you is to take another course and put photography as a hobby o__o..

hope my advice helps..

I'm into photography - I have my Canon 30D which I love like a child blushing

I started off taking pictures of aircraft (I've been living on an airfield after all!) and soon moved onto other stuff.

My Flickr is at http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikebert4

If I had to pick my three favourites, I'd be these three:

This is taken from the Trafalgar lighthouse looking out into the cape of Trafalgar, we hired a car to explore the area (I've been in Southern Spain for 14 months) and the cape has to be one of my favourite spots - fantastic beaches and lovely views :)

This one's of a bunker on the rock of Gibraltar - I just like it :)

This started as just a quick snap of a rose saw whilst walking through the (Fantastically picturesque) town of Rhonda - but something tempted me to let loose on photoshop and this is the result :)

I think Photography for me is a Hobby more than anything else - I've been paid once or twice, but mostly I take free dinners or drinks or some other perk for playing Photographer at various events. It's just too much damm fun, and I'm still rather amateur, to go asking people for cash :)

Anyway, that's me and Mine :)

Mike out.

some very nice pictures here
it's always been a passion of mine
i love candids of people unaware that i am there
i don't do much to my pictures...the more natural the better
i'd post one or two here but i can't remember how to do so
it's been quite a while since i've been here in the forums

Hey thanks - It's completely outside what I usually do (aircraft, Scenary, Macro stuff). biggrin

I always post my stuff as free to download on Flickr and if you want a print you can get it dirt cheap:

Hey, of course! More the merrier biggrin

What about you? Are you much of a togger yourself? I've only been really at it for about 6 months now - think I'm -just- starting to get to grips with it as a hobby :)

Trying this again. These couple are from my camera phone. It's a Blackberry Storm, and does 3.2 MP, so I really can't complain.

As you can tell I enjoy cloud shots. A friend in Scotland and I pass photos back and forth. These are from the fall and winter, 09-10. The hibiscus flower is from the summer 09
