My pc is rendering a 3D landscape image. I'll show you when it's done. It might take another 3-4hrs.

Taking photos is a favorite past time of mine also.

I like film photography better than digital, and I'll show some of mine sometime if I get them scanned in.

Believe it or not Patti...Tony & I didn't go to the balloon fiesta this year..."The world's most photographed event" and I didn't get one photo of it this year! *Hangs head in shame!*

I've been into photography for quite a few years now. I'll post a few of my nature images and 1 of a friends daughter.


It's not letting me post these. I have no clue why? What does everyone use to post photo's?

Go to a good camera shop and ask questions and get a hands on then do a review on digital cameras (on line) and check prices I got a good one a few years ago from butterflyphoto.com but I didn’t care for the extra’s they sold me IE: battery extended warranty. Go with a well-known name and remember you get what you pay for.

look up optical vs. digital zoom you can get a cheap digital camera but it might be junk if it does not have optical zoom u lose resolution dpi with digital zoom

I was into 35mm for about five years and then into 120 format for about a year,,,those were great photo's then,,,

Toronto is a very ugly city. It is clean, bright, new, buildings soar and each are impressive, but the overall effect is ugly. A lot of steel, glass and beton/cement. There is no charm to the city, there is a lot of lifeless architecture. You can buy postcards of aerial views of the downtown, or taken from tall buildings, or from street level, and they are horribly repulsive.

I think the photo you see here is the only good photo of the city, inasmuch as the photo shows some liveable place. No professional photographer has taken advantage of the vantage, and I don't know why. It is my only professional-quality landscape photo, not so much for the skill involved in taking it, but for finding the location and capitalizing on it.

Enjoy, and come visit our world-famous, clean, safe, vibrant, but unfortunately ugly city. Like a teen-ager that is too tall for his limbs and his brains. Oh.
