I'm a pacifist, I think all wars are done because of stupidity on both
sides of the conflict because both sides think they are right, until
theres millions dead. Thats too much sacrifice for one side to say "I
told you so! hahahah!"

But as it stands now, the president has alot of money backing him, so
theres nothing the American people can do to stop it. Even if we all
got together and protested, the president himself is so thick headed
that it won't get thru.

First of all bearandwhiskey NO WHERE ON THIS THREAD have I said one time
that I am for war or that I believe in it either!!.
So pray tale read before you put words in my mouth that at this time nor
anytime do you seem to understand what others have all said here. This
thread is not to HONOR THE WAR but to HONOR THOSE MEN AND WOMEN THAT
HAVE FOUGHT regardless what they thought there reasons were at the time.
That is not for you to say only the ones that are no longer here. Can
answer why they felt the need to fight the WARS they so freely did for
this country. And no I do not like war or guns. But REGARDLESS Memorial
Day was only one day set aside for all to HONOR THOSE MEN AND WOMEN THAT
DIED IN THESE WARS as well as the ones fighting for the one going on
now. Never have I said that I am PROUD OF WAR and never will. I hear you
very loud and clear on BRING OUR TROOPS HOME and would love to see that
as well. But I BE DAMNED IF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE WILL EVER CHANGE MY MIND
ON THE RESPECT THESE MEN AND WOMEN SO RIGHTLY DESERVE. But it AMAZES me
how you come to make your statement several say they agree they would
rather not see the wars and have our TROOPS COME HOME Yet you say you
are behind them 100% to bring them home. YET YOUR THROW YOUR WORDS OUT

Sorry regardless if I like the war or not they gave there lives myabe
they had been braindwashed for there reasons. But nethterless they did
and the least they should expect is from all to at least give THEM THE

you will not see flags hanging from every house.

of mind! Well myself that is very hard to do first of all I do see flags
flying daily. Does not matter were for I do see them. And I hear about
another soldier being killed. Ohh and do I have a flag hanging at my
house right now. Ya can beat your ass I do. My Dad was in the Korean war
it did not matter if in the end he did not think the war should be or
not. He was still very proud that he was in the militaty.

And therfore I have always been proud of my Dad even if at times I did
not agree with him. OUT OF RESPECT I SHOWED MY RESPECT.
