Actually, I was just being me. I love going out and having fun.
Staying in and snuggling up with a good movie is great to don't get me wrong but, I like a wide variety of activities. I raised a daughter so I learned to enjoy shopping alot too lol.

I just got the feeling in some cases that I was being used for my money so I just decided to remove it from the equation in the beginning.

yea, we all know what happens when we snuggle up to a good movie....usually there is a bottle of wine too.

There can be if she wishes but honestly, I much more prefer when I snuggle up for a good movie for it to be just that. Enjoy holding eachother and actually enjoy the movie too. What's the point in going through all the troubled if you don't plan on actually watching it?

My first date is going to be a freeby except for what it costs me for my gas to drive there and my hotel room, here's why.

1. I have spent over 10k in the past 6 months driving to, picking up potential m8's, doing my best to make sure they have fun in hopers of a LTR and it end in nothing.

2. I always get a room and I return to it after I drop her off because without knowing her better sex is out of the question, most women don't anyhow in the beginning so this one is easy. Plus I simply hate ONS's.

3. There is plenty to do for free and still have fun like, walking nature trails or going to a park. Spending time together and talking. etc etc etc

I figure if she's truly interested she won't care about my money because I don't care about hers. If the first day or 2 goes well, then I might spend some money and take her out if we get past the first couple days.

This may seem weird to some but, to the right woman, it will be perfectly acceptable and will go rather well.

------------------
Dang I am glad I am a women if you have spent over 10k for dates!

1. invite them over for a weekend so they can be interrogated by the family to see if they would be a potential victim that would work to be a life time partner and body in this house hold.

2. have sex that night to made sure you are compatible, and if not made sure you start your period the next day, that will get them out of the house fast.

3. make sure they will help around the house so have a nice dinner, O"? first take them to the store, then let them cook the meal with you, so you can see if they really can cook as promised, afterward, make sure they can wash the dishes and dry them,

4. Take then on a 3.3mile walk after dinner for good old conversation and burn off that 10cors meal you all made together!

5. Take them to a video shop and let them pick out there movie,? this way you can see what movies you will be subjected to when your not having a good time?

last of least the weekend works out wonderfully and next weekend you go to there home to only "say what the heck just happened" wall to wall cockroaches, cobwebs, dirty smelly towels, socks and underwear! OMGOODNESS>>>> take me home..

Now you know he is a keeper... no other women will date him.. Shut up women he's mine....... never a cheater, always a giver!

last note? This is how i got the man and it lasted 5 yrs if it was not for Parkinson's illness, we would still of been together?

AKA!

How to ask a women on a date: sponsor by a women!

Frances (my mothers name), I would like to invite you out to dinner next weekend, I thought going to Perkins Restaurant would be nice to start off, nothing fancy but enough of quietness to talk.

Would 7:30pm be ok with you and afterward I thought maybe if you would like to have some fun, bowling since we could laugh and have some fun.

Now if you would feel more comfortable with me paying that would be my pleasure, I do now that in this day and age a lot of women like to do dutch treat and if you chose this, then please tell me i do not want to make you feel obligated at any chance.

I would like to just have a wonderful night with you, I find you attractive and funny on the forms and I would like the chance to get to know you better.....

If for some reason you have to cancel please contact me so i do not show up alone and end up making other plans.

if a women wants to ask a man out...

Hay Keven, I was thinking, how would you like to go out tonight and get something to eat, i love Mexican food. I was thinking around 7pm and i will meet you at Mexican joe! I like that place it is so much fun, a little on the loud side but I think you would enjoy the big screen.. it is game day OSU and OU are playing....

I will be there if for some reason i am a little late, just wait.. I don't get off of work until 6:30 and i have to run home, feed the dog and take out the trash...

Anyway.. I will see you on Sat.. if for some reason you cant make it.. well it is your loss i will still be there.... LOL... I will bring a girlfriend just in case...... if it works out then i will ditch her.... Lol...

Well, I have had so much fun today, regardless if anyone cared or not.. this has been the highlight of my year....

no joking... I promise i will not do this again.. for at least...???? a few???????

have a lovely ending of the night.. and May you all find love...

um, I have never used so many words to ask a man out.

I just simply say, "hey, let's go grab some lunch." or "wanna go to the movies?"

And men, I prefer, are the same way. I don't bring anyone with me on my dates, regardless how it turns out. A date is between YOU and HIM. Would you like it if he brought along some friends? I highly doubt it. It is a chance for you two to get to know each other.

How I met my ex-husband of 6 years: "Wanna go to Vegas with us?" (we had a mutual friend)

How I met my exboyfriend of 8 months: "I like walking." (We then started a once a week 4 mile walk and talk fest and then fell in love)

I am not big into fancy planning on a date. Oh hell, some of my most fun dates were so spontaneous that we ended up at a Denny's at 4 AM with me just getting off work and throwing on a bathrobe to keep me warm. Walked in and said "Jesus, party of twelve" shortly after that we got kicked out for laughing too hard and loud at each others jokes and I don't think we ever went to sleep. Yeah, we never became serious, but we did become close friends.

First dates are always a NO-NO to bring friends and tag-alongs.

oops Sorry about my verbal diarrhea. I go bed now. bye bye

I don't remember if I ever started a thread like this or not, but I DO know I have mentioned it before.

I have NEVER been asked on a date since WELL before my marriage. I've been divorced almost three years now. Three years of guys hitting on me, but never a date request.

Why is this? Do men not ask ladies on dates anymore? Why not? What the hell happened?

A better question...when is it too soon to ask a girl out on a date? Isn't it better and more comfortable for a woman to develop a friendship with a man she just met before going on a date? Please lemme know. Thanks.
