Rent, I don't mind paying honestly. And its not really the laziness part on the empty fridge, its 2 months out of work and STILL fighting unemployment for at least enough money to pay bills AND buy food with. |

at least put it in a bowl son! gesssszzzzzz using a bowl just dirties up a dish needlessly. plus, you're assuming he has a clean one available which is doubtful. |

Time for a stroll through the woods let nature feed you if he's like me it would cost more to drive to wherever the woods are than to just go buy some food. actually, what qualifies as woods anyway...5 trees withing 100 feet of each other? i bet i could find that within a few miles. |

Cut the umbilical cord and learn how to cook. I am a better cook than my mom.
I feel you pain, but do you seriously want mommy to cook for you. |

Gawd, being single is GREAT... I miss living with my mom! Eventually, you'll have to learn to fend for yourself. Hell...I'm single and I am still fat. And it isn't because of fast food. I learned to cook. lol |

Just to clue in some of the younger kids....
Hitting the drive thru dollar menu at McD's or going to Sonic ain't grocery shopping. You actually have to go to a grocery store. Even today...I can literally get a weeks worth of groceries for $20. (nothing fancy...but adequate....for $40 I can eat gourmet for a week.) |

I've been there. I'm glad where I live. Everyone helps each other out.

Even today...I can literally get a weeks worth of groceries for $20. (nothing fancy...but adequate....for $40 I can eat gourmet for a week.) hear hear! I've always known how to cook, but when I have to pinch pennies, I can discount shop like none other and feed myself for a few weeks on $10-$20. When my daughter lived with me, it was hard, but I made sure she gained weight. (I steadily lost weight, but all moms do when times are tough and baby lives at home.) hey, now that I think about it, maybe she should move back in..... |

Hell. I don't HAVE to be starving to make a few of those up. Quick, easy, and very tasty. Can't beat it. |

The way to fix an empty fridge is to make a trip to the grocery store.

Hummmm don't think it has anything to do with him not being able to cook if he had it read up he is out of work and out of food. My son has been there and yeah he came home for a while till he got on his feet. Even though he has moved out he still comes by to see me and eat lmao. Honestly my son is a great cook taught him well It is always nice to know you have parents or at least someone to go home to when in need. And I must say it does make me proud to know my kids know they can always count on their mom. |
