Never happened to me outside of the internet. Not sure why, I go out frequently, some women later admit (after I made the first contact) that they really wanted to talk to me. So I said, And why didn't you say something? I'm not a mind reader and I'm terrible picking up small signs.

a woman makes the first move..as in contacting you to let you know she is interested

No. Not in the least. What typically bothers me is how they act AFTER making the first move.

For some reason people, including women, don't have much problem talking to me.

Rejection is a hard thing to dish out and receive. I have been hit on by women...rare, but I am usually naive about how to handle it, as I do not like to hurt peoples feelings. kinda. I get tired of rejection, so I rarely hit on a woman. Love at first sight bit me in the ars many times.

At first, I was very inclined to say that it hasn't happened, so I wouldn't be the person to ask. However, I stand corrected, because it DID happen, for the first time, this time. Please excuse my initial confusion, as it's something that I haven't experienced before this, and my original intended answer was all I knew. Call it an automatic reaction.

As to the question, I think it's a grand idea. To echo some of the statements from some of the other men on this thread, it takes the pressure off of us for a change.

women know what they want, and men don't have a clue usually if women like them or not in the beginning, so if we're making the first move, we'd be shooting in the dark half the time, and that is what we have done for 10,000 years now, so the last 30 years has been a rather good experience for some of us, because you know what you want, and who you want, and we kinda know what we want, but not really, because it can change course because of like or dislike from women, so...................in light of this, it's only logical that we would love it, and it would move smoother if women made the initiative, because let's face it! IT'S MORE EFFICIENT!!!!

NOW I WANT.........some raisin pie..... (biker's food)

I used to never make the first move or even say hi to make a new friend without a guy talking to me first out of fear of rejection. As I get older Im learning the who gives an F if they reject you lesson lol. Not everyone is going to like everyone and if its at a bar or where ever and you arent going to see the person afterwards why be nervous or shy to say hi. Although yes I will admit that I still would like to be swept off my feet and someone come up to me lol.
