Lemme splain this for you monier... You guys are jaded because you think women are gold diggers based on past experiences ... Is that so bad compared to a woman who has had had her life threatened by a man? What does it say about your sissy asses that she can endure that and not stereo type men? But I am not jaded. I can only go by what I know and what I see. I've had my life threaten by other men and groups of men but I do not stereotype all men that look or act similar. |

Life is not either or and people are not one or the other but we all ARE the sum of our experiences and our desires. and let me clarify what I said. We used in the context as each of us. It's still not clear.. If I misunderstood then I will apologize.. As it stands what it seemed you were saying is that: we are all the sum of our experiences one bleeding into the other... Not verbatim mind you but how we took it... WE as in everyone that posted after you... |

Who needs guys anyway.... Joy and I have plenty of fun at the bar buying our OWN drinks  So Atlantis and Monier, women are gold diggers and money hunger.. Tell me how you can compare the wrong of that to a man trying to kill you?? I'm just curious b/c as I said before it happened to me and I've never ever slammed ALL MEN for it.. huh? It's still not clear.. If I misunderstood then I will apologize.. As it stands what it seemed you were saying is that: we are all the sum of our experiences one bleeding into the other... How can we think other than what we know? How can we learn from others without having lived their experiences? The middle ground is very hard to find because it takes another person to help find it. monier: i follow you. if the others who disagree, & it's their right, had actually read the entire piece instead of mentally highlighting key phrases that tripped their collective triggers, they would have seen it as fairly balanced. there's plenty of blame to go around for the current state of unrealistic expectations. playboy, playgirl, fhm, cosmo the list goes on. bottom line look for someone who can be reasonable. what i mean is, someone who willing to talk things out when, because our imperfections causes a rift, we can work it out. that's certainly what i'm looking for. it's my new mantra. someone who's reasonable.
