Driven, I'm hoping for the best for our country. We need it right now. Thanks for the link: researching www.cfr.org "when you went to this page it posted links to Obama's site, and none other" What are you talking about here? Wow, ok, i admit i haven't been on their homepage for a while. Used to have a list of their staff memebers under a "Staff" tab. Had names like Tom Brokaw on there for everyone to see. They also had links to friendly websites. A few were news sites, then there was Obama's campaign webpage and and another promotional site for him. They didn't have one for McCain, or any other candidate. Looks like they changed things around a bit... If you want to learn about CFR you can find lots of information in a book called "Tragety and Hope", by Corral Quigely (Carrol was one of the founders of the organization). Driven, I was reading McCain's site. He had one. carrol quigley is the bill clinton's favorite author winx. if you read his stuff, you will wonder why bill did some of the things he did, like nafta. What does that have to do with McCain's and Obama's web sites? |

I heard Obama talking about changing how special interests and lobbyists operate there. He said that it's the only way to keep earmarks out of everything.  He He He... (8000) Let me roll that off my tounge... eight THOUSAND earmarks in the proposed Obama budget... Totalling between (Depending on which side of the fence you do the math from) 5 BILLION and 8 BILLION of those little green pieces of paper we call money. Yeh you are SO right... He is going to change the way they do business in washington... Yep... Only thing that is changing is which party's pockets are filled... It all still comes from our pockets. But please, please, please stop forcing that sunshine in my dark places... I can do math... and that particular type of sunshine aint in no way warm... |
