actually, yes. but every now and then i feel a little bit creative think

It's actually feels refreshing to not make digs at other people.

But, yet, yelling RACIST!! at everyone who doesn't agree with you is ok, though. right?

Since I did not call anyone on this board racist, I don't understand the protest???!!!!

you're delusional. it took you all of three posts before you were linking support for states' sovergeinty to hatred and racism and have continued on now for 8 pages trying to convince us all that anyone who acknowledges the existence and meaning of the 10th amendment and supports it is a racist.

I think you purposefully seek out examples of what you consider racism. Ever heard the phrase, "If the only tool you have is a hammer, you see every problem as a nail"? Your only tool is intimidation. You want everyone to feel intimidated to go anywhere near an issue to which you can make even the most specious link to race. That way it makes easy to make people stop talking about it and to try to dismiss it.

There's racism out there alright but you seem to have the tendency to assume until proven otherwise that people with conservative politics are racist and that somehow it's incumbent upon them to prove to you that they're not. I don't think that's constructive for civil discourse.

Very well put. You assume too much also. But I will give these few points to you. Since my eyes were opened to the racists in this country, I was oblivious before, I have been a spokesman for the issue. My experiences with conservatives has been that they were undercover racists, That is my personal experience I speak from there and everyone's esperiences are different. As for calling anyone on these boards racists, I have not done that, it is a false accusation.

There are many political stances the racists of this country support. I have an issue with furthering any racist ideals and hope to point it out to those who may not realize it but feel the same as me and do not support it also.

I am always willing to apologize if I have given anyone the wrong impression that I was accusing them of racism. I don't know the people on these boards so I cannot accuse them. I would hope to get the same respect.

The way I think of it, if you are not a racist and you hear that racist support the same thing you are supporting, maybe at least think about it. That is all I am saying.

These boards are for people to interact, my opinion maybe different but I have as much right as anyone else does to post it. Whether we like each others posts or not, we all have a right to post how we think or feel. I have in no way tried to intimidate people into not talking about the issue ,all I did was bring up the fact that the racists will be supporting this movement. If somehow that is offensive or intimidating I apologize for the misunderstanding.

As for the movement politically, I have also stated that it is hypocrisy. Claiming to be exerting the constitution to nullify the constitution if dictates are not met is hypocrisy. And then to use an ineffective threat and not telling the citizens that the only teeth the movement has would be secession or civil war if the feds to not comply with their dictates is craziness. So addressing the racial component and the political hypocrisy I believe I have covered the issue well.

Not to pick on Dragoness, but I think this is true of a lot of people. They suffer from "Timothy McVeighism" - a fear of white anti-government people who like guns. laugh

Oklahoma City, Waco, Ruby Ridge, Columbine. All Federal Government operations blamed on the White Seperatist type. Partly for the reason of demonizing anybody that is Anti-Government. But we are really Pro-(constitutional)Government! The Fed is anti-government.explode

I sure hope nobody out there really believes Timothy McVeigh did it. That is one of the easiest ones to prove of them all! Tell me he's not the first person you think of when you hear topics like this!

and the funny part is that you and i can be right about her but she will never see it. she will deny to the last because that is the only subject she has to offer to the coffers. in fact, she is being racist to us by calling us racist without provocation.

I did not take it personally at all, I usually don't.flowerforyou As for your point, anti government is a necessary component of this country in doses. They have their place in keeping the government on it's toes so to speak. As long as their anti governmentism is not based from a hatred stand point, that is. Militant would be the intimidating word. Militant anti governmentism would be the part I would be concerned about.

I don't have an issue with the government having to go through a shake up now and then for the pieces to get put back right but in the case of this movement, it was not well thought out. The hypocrisy makes it unreliable and then the threat they are using is invalid unless followed by secession or civil war. That makes it radical extremism. There is a better way to go about it.

ok, by bringing up the racist issue in here you are inferring that anyone who belives that obama is corrupt, whether he is or not, is just doing so because of their so called, by you, racist views and agendas.

sorry, everyone this post is getting offtopic the states have the right in the constitution to secede from the federal government if they want to, i don't know how this will play out because i don't know at the moment who is pushing for this to happen. it almost seems surreal and i would love to put this through my own think tank for a bit to see if i can calculate an outcome.

Oops, I accidentally posted before I was done writing.

No matter what happens, we are going to eventually be forced into the North American Union. USA,Mexico,Canada. This is the plan. We may have to go through a period of choas first though.

If you want to see a truly racist movement, it is the Mexican Re-Conquest of the Southwestern US. These people really ARE scary. They are going to use all this stuff to tell us we need the North American Union.

we need to get away from the federal government, but what assurance do we have that each of the states aren't going to be taken over by some nefarious individuals after the secession? we have to make sure that the big bankers don't get their slimey tentacles on them.

I truely believe we need some form of federal government. But it needs to be cut back drastically. Federal Government should have no influence in healthcare or education, welfare, etc.

VERY few federal laws are needed.

Foreign policies should be simple. If you attack us, we will destroy you and leave. Then you can rebuild yourself.

No FED, no IRS, no department of education, no department of homeland security, CIA, FBI, NSA, etc. become one military run branch, with congressional oversight. FEMA needs to go, as well as the department of energy. Medicare needs to take a hike. The councel on foreign relations MUST GO.

Do all that, then change our currency to one that is backed by gold, silver,or infastructure. (Preferably gold, silve, platinum, instead of paper money.)

Audit the HELL out of the FDA. They are busier making pharmacuetical companies rich instead of doing their job.

If states want a healthcare plan, let them start it. Let states collect their own taxes.

Our government has become too big. They cause 90% of the problems we have. They CAUSE depressions and recessions. They CAUSE wars and famine. Prohibition puts large amounts of money in the hands of criminals. They are all failed efforts. They need to stop fighting it, and start educating the people.

We have the best government in the world - even with its faults.
