I just don't get all this .. its not like any of us will ever really meet and make a good connection is it? I have read several times how some have been here for over a year and they aren't popular nor have they met anyone... real starong arguement to keep coming here... If you open yourself up to it, you will indeed meet and make good connections. I'm not what you would consider popular by any means.....I don't have the time to email back and forth a lot or all that and I'm not attractive in a way that scads will email me from a picture......but I did meet my BF here and we spend all kinds of quality time together! I also have several friends that I would love the opportunity to meet should we ever cross paths sometime. I see what you are saying, but I think you just have to be open to possibilities. Don't let all the silly/childish stuff sway you....it all goes in cycles. There are many really genuine people here. |

not saying there isn't some very nice people here.. and like with most things it takes time..... but when you see cliques and in fighting just like any chat room hey I don't need that garbarge in my life its always ending up ..."pick side" when that happens I just leave no thanks no stress , no anxiery no hurt feelings.. sure it would be nice to meet someone from here or wal mart or ..or..or.. but I don't rely on this site strickly.. Mostly I like the different threads and questions posted. Believe me....I've been considering other stress relieving alternatives lately myself......

Is there really anything to be gained by seeking to be popular on an internet site? Sincere question here... That quest has yielded not for me in all environments, so I'm not really even seeking that as an outcome. |

ok I just spent some time cleaning up the attacks in the thread. those involved have been notified, let's keep it respectful. This will serve as a warning to all involved, any further attacks and this post will be deleted. okay i guess your the cyber cop, well it seems to me there is a little unfairness in this "you cant say this or that" stuff so if your gonna do some cleaning, clean it all up brother. Now in regards to this post i have seen this type of stuff that is about poularity and unfairness. But i took it as just slippin thru and thats all, but i am keeping an eye out. |

popularity.....it boils down to nothing for me.
If I were to be concidered "popular", it would be because of the way I am just me....I don't care what people think of me in the long run. If it is something that is not going to alter the path of my life, then I simply don't care. |
