Lee, it’s no different than Christianity. It patriarchal and over wrought.  Like I said Krimsa, the truth isnt always what you want to hear. Well how much archeological supportive evidence does this religion have to validate it? How about we do a little online comparison.  I'll pass Krimsa. All I am saying is that everything this woman has said is in the scriptures.Its not neccesarily what is being taught in the church today but it IS what the scriptures say.Thats what I am saying. Well okay, IF that is true, why does everyone else have it so wrong? Also, how do you know the scriptures are true? |

Folks, sometimes I am (trying) to be humorous in some of the things I post in these threads to lighten the mood. Sometimes I am serious. I hope you folks can tell the difference. I believe in the One True God. Well you have me a bit confused, but you have never insulted me so I have no issue with you. As for the one true god, you christian folks seem to differ on who that is, but makes no difference to me. Don't want either one. I like my life less complicated..

How is this "truth" any different than the "truth" that all the other religions preach, you will say your truth is the real truth and they will say the exact same thing. Can you offer any kind of proof or evidence that yours is right and everyone else is wrong? And please don't tell me to have faith.  Well, when you go to a doctor, do you want him to tell you what you want to hear, or do you want him to tell you the truth? That didnt address his question in the slightest. I am trying to figure out a way to answer him without coming across as insulting or condesending.

Is there a forsure reverence in this text? Especially for those who consider it just another book to read and analyze and decipher and then move on.
