I have also noticed that some people think that they are the only ones who are saved or "born again." I am also "born again" in my own relationship with all that is, that is known as God. But alas some people feel that they are the only ones.

I don't know why. For me, to be "born again" is to reflect on your life and reach a cross road and become new as you step onto a path of unconditional love and compassion.


It is the judgment card, where you think of your own demise and reflect on your life and truly change your heart and enter the path toward divine love.



And it is the Star, where you reach out to your higher self and that is connected to the divine.

when was the last time you been to church david? do you pray? do you worship? or just criticize? In case you dont know God loves you too. I dont know if your of God or if you are saved but if you lived in my area I would invite you to church so you can be baptized. The pastor would put his hand on your forehead with some holy oil and pray over you. You need a life changing experience.Keep the faith david.

The New Testament did not do away with the Old. They go hand in hand. Both refer to the other at times.

That turning the other cheek thing is not taught right in my opinion. If you are discussing Gods word with an unbeliever and you make them so mad they strike you, turn the other cheek, you have laid to much of on them at once and provoked them. However, if someone comes up to you on the street and strikes you, you stomp a mudhole in their @ss, not turn your cheek. The way I believe, I haven't thrown away any of it. Jesus says he came to not change one "tittle" of the law, but to fulfill it. The old and new compliment each other and go together.

Same GOD always. The term Christian came about after Jesus, meaning Christ man in the greek. Yes the laws of God did demand stoning at times for various offenses. as for as atrocities, when he had people kill people as in the ones occupying the promised land, I don't think it was an atrocity to me anyway, If God demanded it then I believe they deserved it for whatever reasons he gives. These people were some of the ones that had giants, "goliath " as an example and had as their ancestors some of the ones that had mingled with the fallen ones. GOD doesn't order the killing of innocent people, I'm convinced they had deserved it. I don't have my bible handy at the moment but it does give their transgressions as far as GOD was concerned I believe.

But as we know by now, my views and understanding of scripture are not shared by many Christians either.
