The only real benefit, and I do see it as a benefit, of getting away from your own flesh is to develop a certain level of self control. It's kind of like the first step in overcoming the ego. Ummmmmm.....pardon my confusion..... but what is biblical about calling Jesus a "pagan" messiah?? The image of Jesus that most of us know is not the true Jesus. Thats probably not even his real name.

I agree that EVERYONE should QUIT the church they belong to. Let every person pick up whatever book they choose to learn from and let them figure it out for themselves. Let no other human being ever utter religiosity out loud again. Let it be what it is meant to be - personal between the individual and what that individual has found to be thier own calling. OOPS - Sorry Yamin, I guess that means you can never post this kind of stuff again - it claims way too much religious dogma to be suitable utterance, much less itellegible writing. Humans are naturally evil. So if you follow your own heart then you are following wickedness And decieving yourself (Not you personally)
I disagree Mirror I believe all humans unless mentally unwell know how to be good to others.
No offense Dragoness (you know I respect you) but to believe humans are naturally good a person must have lived a VERY sheltered life.

 Well, this is fascinating and it is surprising to me that more people dont undertand what Yamin is saying. She is speaking the pure, unvarnished truth of the bible. Something most people never hear. Not even in church.

The State did not exist in the Garden Jeanniebean. There you have it Jeanniebean. Marriage is not evil. Your just a rebellious woman who refuse to submit to the orders of your creator. You want to rule over yourself and practice witchcraft. And, for the record, I do understand what she is saying. I guess, not being a "true Christian" I just really don't care about what the Bible literally teaches. But, I do understand her point of view and respect the fact that it is working for her.

No offense taken at all Mirror If it was not for power hungriness, people would show their true nature more often, I believe.
