I agree that EVERYONE should QUIT the church they belong to. Let every person pick up whatever book they choose to learn from and let them figure it out for themselves.
Let no other human being ever utter religiosity out loud again. Let it be what it is meant to be - personal between the individual and what that individual has found to be thier own calling. OOPS - Sorry Yamin, I guess that means you can never post this kind of stuff again - it claims way too much religious dogma to be suitable utterance, much less itellegible writing. |

This is the strangest thread I have seen in the GR forum to date. How does one go about "getting out of their own flesh"? That sounds dangerous to me. I’ve mentioned to her before who the Babylonians were and that they were Pagan. It pretty much ended there. Christianity came MUCH later. Everything prior to that was pagan. Krimsa, I think most people with a 3rd grade education or better realize that. |

This is the strangest thread I have seen in the GR forum to date. How does one go about "getting out of their own flesh"? That sounds dangerous to me. Soul travel of course. What do you think Abra is talking about when he talks about Shamanic journeys? I wonder if he realizes that it is akin to astral travel, soul travel, spiritual travel etc. |

Everything Yamin has said is biblical. And accurate. It sounds strange to those whom have never been taught the truth.

I wonder if he realizes that it is akin to astral travel, soul travel, spiritual travel etc. My understanding was that he was using Selenite crystals in order to induce a much more vivid and lucid naturally occurring REM state. He has not mentioned anything about "astral projection or travel" unless I missed that post. |

I like pleasures of the flesh. I love a good massage, a hot bath, a great orgasm, a delicious meal. I suppose her cult believes it is holy to come here to the earth and just spend your time being miserable and perhaps spend time beating each other with small whips and chains. |

And there is nothing wrong with it unless one is seeking to follow the truth. |

Well to get away from your own flesh does not sound very "truthful" to me. You can keep that.

I've heard Mary being called lots of things but queen of the heaven is not typically one them. Actually, Mary is referred to as Queen of Heaven by Catholics. It is one of the many titles previously given to various goddesses that was given to Mary when she "took over" as goddess. And, Jesus may very well be Pagan which would explain why I'm still a Catholic. |

The only real benefit, and I do see it as a benefit, of getting away from your own flesh is to develop a certain level of self control. It's kind of like the first step in overcoming the ego. It can also induce visions and trances without the use of drugs. Some may find that useful, others may not.

I disagree Mirror I believe all humans unless mentally unwell know how to be good to others. |
