I have had many friends that smoked pot through the years and they were just regular people. Its not my job to be a cop.

So you never took cough medicine before that? Or even an tyenol or advil? I'm not arguing with anyone on this issue, I brought facts to the front here and so far no one has backed up this claim of "gateway drug"...so I'm left thinking they are nothing more than words since no one has any valid proof to back it up aside from "personal story" here and "personal story" there. Truth be told people don't do harder drugs because they started with pot, they do harder drugs because they want to do harder drugs.

I don't even take asprin....Well I am living proof darling and yes it sure did...the pot just wasn't working by the time I was 12 then drinking, then that sucked then coke.....and in between srooms, hah whatever......else I could get my hands on....There is not a drug known to man I haven't done.

It doesn't matter even if for some doesn't lead to other things..When I finally quit and cold turkey and that...I saw the world in a whole new light and I smoked pot 32 years...and I don't care what anyone says....you do not function the same on as you do off....My life is sweet now....And I have no desire to touch any of it ever again.

So by choice you did other drugs...not because marijuana told you too. I'm glad you quit, as well as your life is sweet. In the long run it still came down to choice, you chose to do other drugs whether or not it was because you weren't getting the same high from marijuana, you still chose to move on to harder drugs. That is my point, marijuana doesn't make choices for you it simply cannot, LSD is about the closest you can get to a drug making decisions for you and even that doesn't work.

lol lol fear.....well I didn't have a conversation with the pot...lol....This is the deal....when the pot no longer gives you the same high...then you look for stuff that will. And of course it's choice...no doubt about it....This is what is scary to me now..I work with drug addicted teens and adults...When I was growing up pot was pot...but now they spray it with shi* and they do crap to make it stronger...Pot doesn't make you choose no but it will eventually make you try other outlets to get the same affect.....I remember in fourth grade smoking what then was four fingers and **** load walking down to the store and munching out...It was not as harmful as it is today. And don't kid yourself either if you have an addictive personality it doesn't take much. And again with LSD once that's all and your addicted...just once...and you do whatever it takes to get that high....it's all a brain trick but it kills....and kids all over this planet are dying and families torn apart.....I know I see it all the time..

And now crack......cheap and very addictive....I could go on and on...

My scientific facts say that isn't true. University studies say that isn't true, and they use the same potency marijuana available. It also isn't sprayed, it is hybridly grown. They split the seed with any number of drugs to make the high better, but in the end if the high isn't good enough, maybe yes, people will move onto harder drugs...but the same applies to cocain, heroin, and really any other drug known to man.

But that still doesn't stop people from screaming out that marijuana is the gateway drug, which the theory in and of itself is flawed.

The Emperor Wears No Clothes...great book. I met Jack Herrer twice in the early ninties. Once at a NORML rally in Philly and again at Penn State University. We smoked and talked for hours about activism. He was amazing.
