well if pot clammed me down, i'd smoke it 2....read on... for further FYI stuff well, back in my youth, i did just that and this is what happened... in the morning, i woke up, and could remember nada. what came out of my nose was yellow. and further more, i stunk like a banshee...skunk was more like it.... then, someone had greased me down with baby oil, and i could not even put on my shoes. furthermore, if there was any kind of SEX, i could not remember it, because i had a violent headache. so what is the good of relating this experience????/ i have never done it again, and maxine would agree this was a good thing...well martha stewart would say that 2....        Responsibility... Furthermore, I doubt what you smoked was marijuana. Regardless of what someone told you, that is not an effect of marijuana. Typically it kills short term memory over a span of time, not instant amnesia. Honestly...I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't making half of this up as you go... |

It is opium or cocaine mixed with THC. The chemical components of both very well and indeed do make a person black out. It even could have been topped with PCP or embalming fluid. I'm talking from firsthand experience, your talking from a website that is all too keen on giving the wrong information out. When any chemical is mixed with another chemical the reaction can be different than the original chemical untampered with. Of all the marijuana I've smoked I've only ever blacked out when it was laced with any of the above substances, and I've smoked marijuana laced with all of the above substances. |

I probably won't be on much since I'm not feeling well, but I wanted to say this...I know there are other points, but as of right now I can't think straight. but keep in mind that we aren't talking about an adults...we are talking about kids.
1. addictions[/b - an addiction doesn't have to be chemically based. it could be mental...such as food, exercise, dieting, having to HAVE something to relax you (alcohol, drugs) whether it's on a regular basis or not. I don't want my child to use things as a crutch. My brother in law used to think he HAD to smoke a joint to sleep. that is an addiction ad·dict 1 : to devote or surrender (oneself) to something habitually or obsessively <addicted to gambling> 2 : to cause addiction to a substance in (a person or animal) 2. gateway drug - this doesn't have to be because the drug is chemically addictive. I know people who thought "I could handle pot and it gave me a buzz...let's see how the others feel" or "pot isn't doing the job anymore so I need something more." Does this happen to everyone???? no. just like alcohol doesn't make everyone an alcoholic or go into heavier things either. for some pot or alcohol does. 3. natural - I have heard the argument how pot is natural so it should be ok. Lager is made from natural ingredients, as well. what about shrooms??? poppy seeds??? not to mention not everything in nature is good for us. 4. smoke - pot burns hotter than nicotine 5. ability - pot DOES slow the bodies responses 6. affects - pot, like other drugs and alcohol...or most anything in life, affects people differently. just because someone maybe ok on pot, doesn't mean the next person would be. my sister and I can't smoke it. Our muscles tighten up so bad it hurts and my sister hallucinates. My neighbor gets paranoid and stalks people. it depends on the person. |

I KNOW when I have tried it and my sister had (for pain) that we reacted to it badly when the neighbor had no problems. it's because we have a hereditary blood disease. while not everyone might have something that extreme...they can react differently. Could it have been laced...sure. but without knowing someone's body and how they react to things....it's not a given that it was laced |

If you choose to smoke you have to know your limits. I, for example, get overly paranoid if I do too much at a time. I tend to not talk very much when I've had too much and sometimes I do trip out.
But knowing this about myself stops me from going too far or over reacting. I know not everyone in the movie theatre is starring at me so therefore I'm less likely to trip out over it. I know I can't operate the debit machine so I have cash. I know how far to go before I stop talking and just space out for the night so I never go that far. Honestly though, tripping out is partially why I do it. It's fun for me. Some people can't handle it. |

Regardless of the chemical makeup of a person, marijuana does not do that alone. Certain illnesses do cause different reactions with marijuana, but no one will ever black out unless it is laced...that is the only way you can black out from smoking marijuana. |
