Miles, anyone could pick up one of my books and study it and understand what it is discussing. Its not like they are written beyond the comprehension of human beings or something.

Besides the whole point of the bible is the average man or woman is supposed to be able to pick it up and read it and interpret it to their own satisfaction.

You said a mouthful thier. yes it is easy to understand but the problem is the OT has been done away.. everyone tries to use the NT to say what stuff means and it makes the OT not make sence.. Yahshua came that everyone can understand.. But very few want to.

Well actually several of the passages they brought up, i have also poked fun at on these forums on various occasions. This one I have not though. Okay this is taken from the video:

Im not sure if they used this exact passage but it was asking for the same result. Stone those who dont keep the Sabbath.

That is a theme. The stoning is more about rebellion than the breaking of the sabbath.. In another spot thier it speaks of someone breaking the sabbath and Yahweh does not tell Moses to stone them.

Almost always when it is speaking about stones or a foundation it is speaking of the word. John 1 says That Yahshua is the word.

He is the stone.

he says that anyone who comes up against him or anyone of his will not break the foundation.

They will always be steadfast in thier belief.

Kinda like the story of Job.

The stones are like pebbles.. They are for those who willfully disobey in life will be stoned to death.

By society.. These small stones come from each other. we stone each other in not Loving our Brother.

This is why you see the people doing the stoning.

They are rebelling against thier own family.

So the family takes action in love to correct his brother.

Thats why it speaks of those who turn thier brother away from sin has saved a life.

And themselves have covered a multitude of sins ( stones)

So Krisma the things we read in the Law were always meant to be spiritual not physical.

The sabbath is a sign between Yahweh and his people.

what they are saying is we are resting as our father did .

we confess he is the only Elohim. No one but his.

So we are part of the Rock ( Yahshua) and testify that he is who he is. He is Family.

The Bible is deep but yet simple.

We learn from doing. practicing things.

This is where all the confusion comes from the Bible becasue they throw out the Scriptures that lead to life.

In doing so they are being Stoned dashed to pieces and are desiring Death instead of life.

Thus those who refuse the sabbath Refuse Yahweh. Because the Sabbath Declares who he is.

Yahweh says it is a sign between him and his Children forever.

throw out the Sabbath.. The stoning will come on your own head by your own kind.

It is a law of earthly demise. A law of dog eat dog.

I understand what you are trying to say, that stoning was meant more in a metaphorical sense, but I really do believe that in the OT, people were stoned to death for all of these reasons listed, no matter how minor and ridiculous they appear to us now. I mean I could copy and paste all of the reasons for stoning found in the OT that are listed. I wont do that and its probably not necessary.

Yes thier was stoning in thier . the law was a physical thing that was meant to teach the spiritual meaning of love your nieghbor as your self and Love Yahweh with all your heart mind and soul.

The whole Torah or 5 books of moses when it starts in Exodus the children of Israel had been slaves to egypt for 430 years.

They had to learn the hard way and none of them made it to the Promice land but 2.
