Topic: How do you turn down an AWFUL looking person?

If it had your sweat on it that is pure pheromone. I would believe it. Well, I felt embarrassed, I thought it was a bit disgusting habit, and she was a bit embarrassed, but she explained it.

Actually, I wonder if that would be an effective strategy to make a woman obsess over you? You could go work out in a shirt, get it nice and saturated, come visit her and ask if you can use her bathroom to change, then "accidently" forget your shirt at her place. Maybe she'll find it, smell it and start sleeping with it.

Kind of ironic, when so many people like to say "looks don't matter." those people are either lying or in denial; you have to find something physically attractive in another human being in order to get your attention, if it's nothing but you like their hair style, lol. unless you're like an animal and you're attracted by scent. Actually I would make the argument that it is in fact all based in visual stimulation and basic human reproductive biology. Scent is even a large part of that and especially where women are concerned. But I agree with you that we need to be attracted to our potential mates on a very fundamental level and that will first and foremost be their appearance unless we meet in some other fashion. Its always going to be high on the list and is a potential deal breaker also. Actually, there is the theory out there that scent may be more important that visual i mean to tell you that theory has been proven,pheromones have a great deal to do with things and if the other person isn't putting out the ones that turn your ticker to mush it's time to walk away and chalk it up and try again..

Looks don't matter when: A) your blind B) they have something else of higher tangible value you want and plan to use them for C)They are rich and have one foot in the grave and the other on a bannanna peal and your poised to push them in Do I know you? that really sounded like something my ex would say... lol but it is true........Human nature always prevails. We are mainly visual unles there is something of higher importance to over come that natural instinct.

I have a standard reply to anyone I'm not interested in for whatever reason that doesn't specifically point to any preference, and it usually works pretty well.

It isn't the physical aspect I'm attracted too, I've dated all kinds of people from the less appealing to the most attractive...I date for personality, that never fades.

how would you turn down a good looking person that isn't compatible with you? i believe the same method would work As an Equal Opportunity Turn-Downer, I agree. I agree. Looks matter to some sort of degree but it doesn't mean that an attractive female is the one I'm going to choose either. For example, I've never kissed a blonde girl or a red headed in my entire life. I don't find them attractive no matter how many thousands or millions of other people do.
