The same way men turn me down "you're just not pretty enough"  me neither She's gorgeous Aww, thanks. Sadly though, thats alot of makeup and knowledge of good camera angles...lol. I'm really kinda plain... Thats not self pity...lol, its the realization that no matter what I do, my nose and teeth are still kinda crooked... and I weigh more than most men want their woman to... grrr. I'm tryin though... seriously considering a nose job if I can ever afford it... |

How do you politely turn down an AWFUL looking person? The same way you would turn down anyone. Just politely let them know that they are not your type. Thats all I ever say and it applies to any number of circumstances. Its non-specific enough as to avoid a lot of explanation on my part. |

How do you politely turn down an AWFUL looking person? That's a hard one. While looks are important, I think what's inside is so much more important. I've met some really beautiful people who, at first glance, would probably make a person say, "Oh Damn!Is the circus in town?" Their personality and sense of humor, though, is so cool that after a while, I don't see the exterior when I look at them. I see a gorgeous individual. I think I'd only turn down an awful-looking person if they were as ugly on the inside.

Just remember they're human and have feelings when you shoot them down. Also remember, you might be ugly to someone else so your words may come back to haunt you. Thats not an insult to anyone, just the truth of how life works.

Looks are SO SUBJECTIVE to the beholder, and we only get older and funkier!!! A lot of men my age get hair in the nose and ears!! Very unattractive if not groomed/trimmed!! I'm not so into "looks", but if I can tell they don't take care of themselves, that is really unattractive. And, some not "ideals", I find them more attractive than "canned" versions of attractive. They are more INTERESTING to behold.

i have dated women that i wasn't attracted to on a physical level.....It is never easy to break something off.....if it was only a date or two I just stop communicating or if i do feel the need to say something I will say that we are not a match or that i am dating someone else whom i want to pursue in a relationship.....i really think that it is best to try not to hurt someone's feelings.....

How do you politely turn down an AWFUL looking person? I just do what i normally do. Stay kind to them find a way that lets them know that "you know im just really not looking for anything right now" but still hang out with them. Heck alot of those guys (and girls) are still good friends of mine just nothing more. |
