I went online a purchased a copy of the coat of arms for our last name for my dad. It also has a history of our last name. And some coffee mugs with our symbol on it. My dad is always reasearching our family history and we're all proud of our heritage so I thought it was a good gift. Better than ANYTHING walmart could provide for me.

Well supposedly the Pagans did give gifts to friends, lovers and family. The Romans definitely did. But there was no Santa in the Pagan Yule. It was simply people giving gifts to other people. Santa was based on Saint Nicolas (I think) and that was a Christian deal so they really only have themselves to blame for that. happy

Oh, I totally agree with this!!! It's impossible just to drive around town and go to the grocery store. It's only going to get worse in the next few weeks. sad

I started a thread on Clairvoyance and Occult Powers which is a book written By Swami Panchadasi which is in public domain if anyone is interested.

I welcome any discussion in the thread but mostly I will be posting the chapters for anyone who would like to copy and save the information.

Actually I did purchase that book but I got a little sleepy reading it as it was rather droll and seemed to be attempting to approach the subject on a mental and scientific level rather than a creative level. I did not get very far with it.

Have you read it? What did you think about it? Do you think I should give it another try? There it sits in my book shelf and when I tried to read it I just go to sleep.

laugh laugh I've tried to read it 3 times and not getting very far. It does interest me and she makes some good points in it. It's my goal to actually read the whole thing. I thought it was just me.

Okay I'm glad it wasn't just me too. laugh

Try "The Law of Attraction" by Esther and Jerry Hicks, then "Ask and it is Given." Much easier and more exciting to read.

Good Morning everyone,

What time does everybody awake and go on mingle. I ask because everytime I go on to reply, I get no answer and end up in the jokes section trying to get laugh of the day and then return 3 hours later to perhaps get a answer? By then I am tired and hungrylaugh

Perhaps (just a suggestion) it would be great we all meet a certain time for a hour or two discussing whatever hits our minds or perhaps (Ruth) could start the day with a question to start off a interesting conversation that could benefit us with more knowledge. If this is not a good idea then that is fine also. However you feel best, for I know everyone has certain things to do each day.

So here I put down a list of names that I have been seeing in this thread and ask what time do you usually come on to see what times we can meet together to chitchat each day.

as for me Mon. to Frid. 9am to 6pm / 9pm to 1am
