angels are not flesh and blood but spiritual beings - why would they fight each other with swords? they cant be killed/murdered - so what would be the point?
2nd question, why would a loving god want to have or use weapons? why would there be any weapons/chariots/spears or any other "weapons" in heaven? Could not god wipe them all out with a word, or banish them from this universe? This talk of angels seems to me to be nothing but bull, if he can't control his own creations and needs to do battle with them, what does that say about his so called "omnipotence? explain if you can please. he seems no more than another "GOD of WAR" with an army to protect his kingdom - protect?? why would >"the"< god need protecting? does he fear for his safety or the safety of his kingdom? this is not "the" god if thats the case, merely another created god. |

By Jove I think Tribo's Got it you finally understand the point I was trying to make in that other thread....why would a God have the "need" for weapons, angels fighting, chariots or humans... the fact that a supposely omnipotent God would create anything would in fact prove that it wasn't omnipotent ...and not a God |

well no your question was why does god have a "need" to create, mine is why does he have a need to "make war" with his own creation? "Tribo" sounds like the same direction of the question... the key word is "need" and it also answers your original question just ponder why God had a need to create anything and it will automatically answer your original question as to why God had a need for angels to fight with swords |

for yea, we are the angels, which have the swords, that fight one another, with mouths first, then with the hands, seeing not all mankind is only but ONE EQUAL spieces.......

I dunno. Arent there "Battle angels" that will kill for god? They are mercenaries in a sense. Like Michael? Isnt he one?
Anyway, Im not leaving that photo up. Its easy enough to do a search for images of "Battle Angels." Its an absurd premise. This god is not very nice at all. Although Im not certain that Christianity was ever trying to make a claim that it was reasonable or based in compassion. |
