Did you graduate high school? of course I did darlin', College even I was asking because you stated that you could not answer a question that they begin teaching kids in 6th grade. Just curious. If you dont understand these concepts, then I cant rightfully debate them with you can I? |

Separation of Church and State is bought up it seems to me, by non believers that do not want others to have the FREEDOM to worship as they choose or to worship at all. I as a Christian have no problem if one doesn't choose to believe. I have a problem with those that tell me I can't. How can that be true if it is stated in the Constitution sharp. No one can practice their own religion in a public school that is funded by tax dollars or a place of public or civic office. If you owned your own business and you wanted to pray, you could. But you could not force your own employees to pray, nor fire or refuse to hire them based on their religious beliefs. Aside from acknowledging these parameters, you could run around naked worshiping ice cream cones as far as the founding fathers were concerned. So can you answer why we are not permitted to erect a nativity scene out on the front lawn of a Court House building? |

Okay well how would you feel if you were a Buddhist and you were a suspect in a crime so you had to attend trial in said court house with a nativity scene displayed prominently on the front lawn. So they drag you in shackled and handcuffed. How do you think that might make a person of another faith feel as it relates to the treatment they might receive in a civic office that is supposed to be blind to religion race or creed. A public office that is in fact there to render just verdicts for all people in that community?

the bottom line is that the flood story is impossible. We are in agreement there. Normal precipitation could not have occurred. It would have had to come from outside of our atmosphere and that is where it gets spooky and loses any kind of scientific or meteorological credibility. And 40 days and 40 nights of rain raised the ocean levels by 29,000 feet to cover the Earth. How could anyone survive a 30 foot an hour deluge? Approximately 6 in. a minute! Maybe God provided Noah and his family with snorkels ? Besides, how can you drown sea animals? God obviously didn’t think this through. |

Besides, how can you drown sea animals? God obviously didn’t think this through. Not to mention most if not all the plants, too. Also, an objective person knows by inspection that animals have emotions. How could a compassionate god just capriciously literally rain down such terror on innocent animals? I doubt even Christians would say animals have free will and the power of choice to be either good or evil, so why destroy all but a pair of each species (as the story posits)? No, all the facts and objective reasoning point this out to be a fable written for the purpose of what Ayn Rand called 'The Argument from Intimidation.' -Kerry O. |

That is horribly sad. You know that one of the ways a child is diagnosed with perhaps having a borderline personality disorder is if he or she is attracted to hurting or even killing small animals. They noticed this behavior in Jeffrey Dhalmer in fact. Sociopaths do not possess the ability to feel empathy for other living creatures and they tend to always see the world in terms of "how does this affect poor little me." Hmm.
Where was Satan during this big flood anyway? |
