Not so... If I (in all faith) decided that it was important for me to lift on of 'your' rocks... said rock would be lifted. (cause I know how to use a floor jack).

"AdventureBegins" the question was can God create a rock that you with all your "will" can't lift ...so you probably need more than a floor jack for this rock ...so is the answer yes or no

I am a human... My will will allways be extended by those gifts, skills, and gear that have become available to me.

so yes a floor jack can be an extension of my will.

Or if it was necessary I would enlist the will of a few friends... And said rock would still be lifted.

Narrow view gets narrow answers. Wider view opens many possibilities.

"AdventureBegins" I asked could you lift the rock but the fact you need your friends and a floor jack while trying to lift up the rock called planet Earth ...I guess the answer is that you can't ...

Yeah, but...

These "laws" are written by mortals...

Isn't it possible that, regardless of how the "authors" arrived at the data, these written laws were subject to initial mortal interpretation? Then, through generations and countless translations, don't interpretations continue to morph?

"Spendidlife" ...according to the believers of the faith the "Laws" was handed down by God ..mis-interpetation or morphing of these laws can only take place if the faithful do not attend the places or gathering where the laws can be discussed

This sounds like fairy-tale.

Dungeons and Dragons

If you are not aware of how the laws of this holographic environment work, then you can easily be described as a "puppet" or a "robot." That is just part of your spiritual evolution. We all go through it.

We (humans) are like children we blame or thank God for everything this way it takes the responsibility off of our shoulders. Something good happens to me it is because God was with me and listened to me if something bad happens it is because I was bad and God punishes me. Ever heard all those athletes that say after winning "The Lord was with me and I thank to him if we won" (something like that) me I always wonder how come the other team who had a lot of believers who prayed the Lord to help them win the big game didn't win, does God have favorites amongst is believers.

"Alzimer" in the long run it is all God's fault for creating imperfection

"JennieBean" explain the point of having self-direction in an illusion

Here is an example:

Self direction is a conscious decision to direct your attention toward something (or on something) of your own conscious choosing ~as opposed to an automatic response to someone or something that is distracting your or attracting your attention.

It is deciding how to feel about something and not just letting your emotions run away with your mind.

It is deciding what to do rather than letting other people tell you what to do and rather than just following a response to programed stimuli.

It is making a conscious decision and being "cause" rather than being the "effect" of the external world.

but since you claim the reality is an illusion then no matter the direction you take is the result of what the illusion convinced you to do

the illusion can place any obstable any place at any time to force you to make the choice it wants you to make to serve it's purpose

in this illusion your senses would be useless because you would have no idea if it is the illusion providing you with the stimuli to stimulate your senses ....so that is why there is no self-direction in an illusion ..simply because nothing is real but your existence to yourself

Hey, Its just a game.

Have you ever played a video game that had a virtual reality?

Within the game, you make the decisions.

The game does not force you to do anything.

You use your will to direct the avatar (your body self) in the game.

If you don't make some good decisions, you will probably not win the game.... until you get good at it.

When you get good at it you move up to the next level of the game.

So yes, its all an illusion, even the self direction of your body. But the user is the WILL not the avatar in the game.

But you can call this reality if you choose to. Everyone else does. It is quite remarkable.

It certainly seems like reality.

the game set up obstacles..it may have walls that you can't walk though.. since you can't walk though the wall the wall forces you to make a decision to take another approach or direction ...therefore the wall at that point in time is in control of your self direction not you ..you only get to pick from a limited set of options that the game "allows" ..the lesser the options the lesser the choices the lesser the direction ...hence no self direction can exist in a video game unless you reprogram the game

The obstacles in the game were limitations and agreements you made before you entered the game.

Before you play a virtual reality game you realize and agree to the rules and programing of the game.

But you don't have to enter the game at all, it was your choice to enter. This is not a prison, it is a game.

If you don't want to agree to the laws of the video game, you can decide not to enter the game, but if you decide to enter the game you must abide by the rules of said game.

These limitations you mentioned are agreed upon by you and hence are chosen by you to make the game more challenging and interesting.

The bottom line is that within the limits of the game, you are there to try to out smart the programing and win the game.

The biggest challenge to the players is that the illusion is so realistic that they mistake it for reality and they forget they are playing a game and they get all caught up in it and they get distracted and they get lost and yes, some even get addicted to the game.

Most of them are totally clueless as to what the game is even about or what is going on or how to win the game.

Added:

Having "free will" does not mean not having unlimited choices.

The will is the one who makes decisions and sees the options within the limits it has set for itself within the game it is playing.

You chose to play the game.
