Topic: who will move to Canada? | |

Dont forget third party and write in options. If everyone voted Nader, unless the powers that be are REALLY connected, he would win, and he would be better than McBamas... It's only unrealistic if everyone thinks it is. The more third party votes we get, the better off we are. |

I waited for hours and hours last time i was at the doc, then got a referal to a specialist and waited hours and hours and then had to wait weeks and weeks for surgary? Isnt that how it works when it isnt an emergency? its simply that this country wont be worth a crap if Mccain wins and for the benefit of my family I will leave this rotten country so as my future grand kids wont live in a police state. When your born im America you are born into debt slavery. |

The more third party votes we get, the better off we are. now there is a fine example of a wasted vote voting for someone you do not think is the best available because you do not want a particular candidate to win so you vote against someone rather than for someone |

If Obama and McCain agree on so many issues, and people know this, and they know both candidates are wrong for us, who cares who wins this time around. It's time to spread some recognition to the third party. I said earlier that i can respect anone that votes for anyone providing they did their homework on it. This still stands true, but i also think anyone voting for McCain or Obama is adding to our problem. Why would people rather Obama get in office than McCain. Obama's plans are much more drastic and would cause more damage than has already been done before that. The fact that Obama is a democrat doesn't mean he will change anything for the better. He is a trade in for another extreme philosophy with the same agenda. If a vote for Nader will take away a vote for Obama that is a good thing. You know Nader and Paul will take away votes from McCain as well. That is a positive thing too... Cause for most of our problems in the U.S. : Government overspending and the sinking value of our dollar caused by printing money. Obama's plan for change: Increase government spending and print more money. |

i'm proud to stay and still try to fight for what i believe in this election has opened my eyes to all of the problems in this country. if i have to start at the local level so be it. the LEAST i could do is try to make it better i'm proud of this country regardless of who runs it and i'll be damned if i'm going anywhere! |

if we had more people like you drivinmenutz, i think we'd get alot more done
there is so much 'bash the other party' attitude that i think people are not seeing the big picture. i'll admit to getting caught up in it somewhat but i'm glad i took a step back. |

We need a drastic change! your underwear getting a little crusty to? |

At this time the reality is a vote for Nader or RP would be a waste. If Nader wouldnt have run with BUSH/GORE Gore would have won had nader not ran and those vote would have gone to Gore being he was to the left of Bush. Imagine, no Iraq war as I realy doubt gore would have turned 911 into a war with Iraq. So what Saddam would still be in power half his country would be under a no fly zone and america would still be strong and not bankrupted.

Cause for most of our problems in the U.S. : Government overspending and the sinking value of our dollar caused by printing money. Obama's plan for change: Increase government spending and print more money. We need a drastic change! This is why im am trying to get people to not vote with the two parties... The way we work this is by following local representatives and voting in decent ones. Then we have to vote outside this repeating system. "Do not confuse motion with action" -Benjamin Franklin Change is a cliche Obama carelessly tosses around to hypnotize people into assuming that he is talking about "good change". He has not backed it up with anything that will have an impact in making things better. But they sure give the illusion that he is trying to do good. Example his healthcare looks good short term, but long term it makes our problem worse His foreign policy = NO CHANGE!!!! Well, i guess that's not entirely correct. He wants to increase our spending on it for one. That, and get involved with more countries than we are involved with already. Yes, we need a drastic change in policies. Something we haven't seen in decades. That change needs to be cutting the size of our government along with programs that do more harm than good (I.E. department of education, homeland security, etc.). More importantly we, as americans need to ask ourselves what this country should be responsible for. As Ron Paul put it; If you believe the country needs to hold your hand, and take care of you from cradel to grave, and if you think our job should be to police the world, than you should be happy as things are already increasingly going your way. If that's what you believe, than "change" (the real kind, not Obama's play on it), is definitley not what you want. I believe that people have the ability to take care of themselves. I believe people are competent, and dont need the government to take care of everything for them from the day they are born until they day they die. We can't afford to police the world. I don't believe that should be a role of our government. Build up our defense, bring troops home, give more power to local governments, cut programs, etc. This would pretty much solve our healthcare crisis, our economy, and our cost of living... |

The longer people support this attitude the longer we are stuck with corrupt politicians that are trying to run us into the ground.... |
