Topic: who will move to Canada? | |

if we had more people like you drivinmenutz, i think we'd get alot more done there is so much 'bash the other party' attitude that i think people are not seeing the big picture. i'll admit to getting caught up in it somewhat but i'm glad i took a step back. Thank you, and right back at ya I know about the party bashing, i am as guilty as anyone else about it. I still get caught up in it sometimes. |

I'm sure Canada is much too conservative for you Madisonman, take it from someone who has tried universal health care (Called the military) It doesn't run as smoothly as everyone thinks it does. When I lived in Germany, on a military base, with military health coverage and the "universal health care" style system, it took us two months after making the initial appointment to see a doctor. Even longer just to get an ultra sound and for my tonsils to be removed. Yeah, there is health care for everyone, so to say, but the doctors work very little. I am not saying our system is any better, because there are a lot of downfalls, but seriously...If you are going to base all of your opinions off of the movie "Sicko", just don't say anything. Weigh both systems and then come back and tell us which system is the lesser of two evils...but think of this...more often than not, on the Universal health care system, people die in the emergency room waiting for the doctors to get off of break, or because the hospital is under funded, or because the doctors decided that since they weren't getting paid fairly, they went golfing. I would like to add that Obama is not endorsing universal health care. He's providing a way for the uninsured working middle class to obtain insurance. thank you! I am so sick of people lableing him as a Socialist. It all comes from the negative campaigning bs from the republican party FANATICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sick of it too. It matters little to me weather or not he is a fanatic, what matters to me is where he stands on the issues. I think we all have a little tendency to become fanatical about something every now and then. I'm swinging McCain cause I straight up didn't like how Obama preformed in the Presidential debates, and it made me question him more so than McCain. Yeah, McCain didn't preform well either, but I noticed he answered questions more straight than Obama did... Funny. I liked Obama better in the debates. I thought that he answered more questions straight. What got me was the last debate when the question was about the economy in four years, and he answered in a decade. I noticed quite a few of his answers I didn't agree with, so, I;m just not voting for him...Truthfully, if Nader were running, I think we are so screwed I'd vote for him. |

Honestly i think both candidates played it so neutral, and all stances were exaggerated it allowed opinions to go either way.
This would be a smart move, since it gives publicity, but everyone now becomes a selffulfilling prophet, gaining even more "respect" for their already chosen candidate... |

Nader is on the ballot in 45 different states, and yes, he is running (last i heard). His VP choice is Gonzolas. Funny how someone can be on the ballet in 45 and be denied a debate with Obama or McCain... |
