15. TEACHING: Palin said we need to make sure “that education in either one of our agendas, I think, absolute top of the line,” when McCain has repeatedly favored tax cuts for the wealthy over funds for more teachers and class size reduction.

Well McCain is from Arizona which in 49th in funding for education. We had to cut 5 positions this year and my average class size is 29. Eighth grade teacher's are averaging 32 per class. Larger classes means less time can be spent with each student. grumble grumble grumble McCain is a strong supporter of private schools and charter schools. They are not held to the same standards a public school. They can turn students away if they don't meet their criteria. We cannot!

that's leadership.

she held everything in her hands and quietly smiled and waited her turn.

Biden bit on it all and she had him on her terms backclawing for any opportunity to grab at a turn in momentum.

That never happened.

She smoked him.

drinks KOOL AID isn't just for kids anymore, it's for those with no game.

The only thing that she kept going back to was her energy talk. There was many questions she just flat out didn't answer. She was well informed on one subject and that was it. Thats why she was shacked up at his ranch in arizona for the past week so she could be trained and brained washed to dance around the answers and only focus on the one subject she knew anything about. The others she just talked around it or went back to her energy policies up in alaska. How many people are in alaska compared to the rest of the US and what is she going to do for us other then look hot in the white house?

The fact is she can't afford to upset the oil companies. They give every Alaskan a nice check every year. Can't upset the enviromentalist because they will work harder to protect Alaska's beauty and resources. Can't omit Global Warming is a problem caused by people, because alternative energy would mean dollars from her state.

Can you say..."political two step"???

I really do not understand the trepidations over Palin.

She is Governor of a back water state way up there in the Arctic. Great fishing and wildlife, but not much in the way of sophisticated glamour and pomp and circumstance.

Not much elitist culture.

Which brings me to my point.

She has thrived in a corrupt political venue, established her agenda and changed things in the state and lined the pockets of the locals with what amounts to a bribe, if my comprehension serves me correctly.

She makes enemies of the established cronyism, and alienates the powers that be, while mocking the "good ol' boy" network.

From that description, she should be perfect for Washington.

She fits right in.

So why the stink?

She sounds like the democrats, lock stock and barrel; loaded for bear.

She smiles and back stabs the entrenched professional politicians and steps over her benefactors.

YUP! Sounds just like Barack Obama to me.

You democrats sure don't know a better good thing when you see it.

Shame on you.
