Palin is the devil in disguise. For some of you dim witted people, this is not good. Two facts that made me disrespect her, besides her ability to sneak around and avoid any question given to her... The first offense was when she tried to ban 'Harry Potter' Books from a library in Alaska. When he plea was laughed at, she tried to have the librarian fired that was working at that particular library, but that didnt work, but she is still trying, and the second is when she made it so that rape victims have to pay for the rape kit. How messed up is that? She is basically saying, "Maybe you shouldnt have been a whore, you deserved it, now pay up, cuz I'm your F ING pimp!" Now tell me you have respect for her, I dare you. Dont believe me, look it up for yourselves. McCain is a senile old bastard as well.

First, Fran is one of the most level headed and unbiased people here. She has called BS on both sides. And she has plenty of good friends, including me. Nobody is trying to make you feel stupid. We're trying to clear the air.

The first link is from a left wing site whose information has been completely debunked. Many of those books on the list you are reading were not even in PRINT when the event occurred. That list is a list of books that have, in fact, been banned, or were the subject of attempts to ban from libraries across the country at any given time. It is NOT associated with Palin. The Harry Potter books on the list are relatively recent. A number of years ago Palin did, in fact, inquire what it would take to ban books from the libray. But there is no known documentation of what she wanted to ban. Even the librarian says she didn't say which books.

So.. bottom line... Palin inquired about banning books. But there was no list that anybody knows of. And the list noted in the link is not associated with her.

I don't even like that Palin thought about it. Books are sacred to me.

So you guys are one of those, the believers of what everyone says, hell, I bet tomorrow, in the news, it could say that Bush killed a man, and show the proof... the very next day, bush could come on the tv and deny it, and you would believe him. The truth came out, and someone had 'proof' that it never happened. Dont believe everything that comes out of people's mouths. I know your going to say the same to me, but why would someone lie about this, when they could have lied about numerous things. And I know that your going to write a long paragraph on how I'm wrong, and I believe that you believe that I'm wrong, but that's just you. Look outside the box.

Are you just missing the fact that some of those books didn't exist when this incident happened? Don't you understand how this list couldn't be hers?

I've already gone on record about how scary it is that she even discussed banning books. I've already stated that it was enough to sway me away from her. But this list can't be associated with her. It actually IS impossible.
