i think having a woman for vp is real change ...and not just a pretty face... An "intelligent, strong, down to earth, tell it like it is" woman. One of us & not some double talking snake oil salesman. That's the SARAH PALIN appeal & anyone who can't see that is a liar & the truth is not in THEM! Couric asked what her newspapers she read and she couldn't even name one. And remember when she told Couric that she'll get back to her?

Did see an interview with her the day after debate along the St. Louis Riverfront. (Arch was in the background.) She was able to mention all the newspapers she read. Listed off the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and one other. Hmmm. She doesn't read any news papers from her home state. How interesting. Winx you know I'm no angel.  Know how turned on you get by intelligence.

Sorry was just reading the Nothing, AZ Gazette. It just announced the Truman Defeated Dewey. Well at least they got that correct. Which is more than the Chicago papers did.
Yes there is a Nothing, AZ. Go through it every time I go to Phoenix. Have even stopped there.

NOT. putting a political sign on the front lawn is no different. It is pushing ones' personal views on ones neighbors. it may offend half of them. Chances are, that is the case, seeing that half of the country appears to disagree with Obama. But then, the messenger IS the message, in both cases. You can't have it both ways and be credible. 
It does NOT offend my neighbors. My neighborhood is full of Obama signs. Half the country disagrees with him? He's ahead in the polls. 
If I had a McCain sign, I would be insulting my neighbors. |
