WONDER WHY YOU DON'T HEAR MUCH ABOUT THIS IN THE DEBATES. NONE OF

THE PEOPLE THAT RUN THE DEBATES (TV NEWORKS), WHO ASK THE QUESTIONS

WILL ALLOW THIS TYPE INFORMATION TO GET OUT TO THE PUBLIC.

THE DEMOCRATS AND THE REPUBLICANS GO HIDE WHEN THESE QUESTIONS ARE

ASKED, WHY? WHAT COSTS MORE PER YEAR THAN THE IRAQ WAR?

Answer: Illegal Aliens Cause Massive Cuts For US Seniors

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I have included the URL's for verification of the

Wouldee, I don't see how one can predict this: "their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US."

here's some more topical toxic waste attached to the present 700 billion headed to the House today for vote.

How much more will the House add, given they act as they normally act?

This, too, is a copy and paste.

WASHINGTON - Here, little piggies!

Congressional deal-brookers yesterday slopped a mess of pork into the $700 billion financial rescue bill passed by the Senate last night - including a tax break for makers of kids' wooden arrows - in a bid to lure reluctant lawmakers into voting for the package

Stuffed into the 451- page bill are more than $1.7 billion worth of targeted tax breaks to be doled out for a sty full of eyebrow-raising purposes over the next decade.

MORE: Di$aster Plan B Wins Senate OK

EDITORIAL: Porking Up The Rescue Bill

"This is how Washington works," said Keith Ashdown of Taxpayers for Common Sense, a Washington research group. "A big pot of pork is their recipe for final passage."

The special provisions include tax breaks for:

* Manufacturers of kids' wooden arrows - $6 million.

* Puerto Rican and Virgin Is- lands rum producers - $192 million.

* Wool research.

* Auto-racing tracks - $128 million.

* Corporations operating in American Samoa - $33 million.

* Small- to medium-budget film and television productions - $10 million.

Another measure inserted into the bill appears to be a bald-faced bid aimed at winning the support of Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska), who voted against the original version when it went down in flames in the House on Monday.

That provision - a $223 million package of tax benefits for fishermen and others whose livelihoods suffered as a result of the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill - has been the subject of fervent lobbying by Alaska's congressional delegation.

Some of the pork-barrel measures buried in the financial rescue package had been contained in a bill that previously passed the Senate, but died in the House.

The Congressional Budget Office said the package of breaks - including obvious pork and some more defensible tax-relief measures - will add about $112 billion to budget deficits over the next five years because the bill doesn't contain enough offsetting revenue hikes to keep the budget balanced.

The legislative lard annoyed Tom Schatz, president of the watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste.

"There's always something that goes on at the end where the last dozen members are trying to get something for themselves or for a special interest rather than what might be good for the country," Schatz said.

Some of the other measures added to win approval include a $3.8 billion health-care provision that forces insurance companies to provide coverage for mental-health treatment equivalent to the coverage they provide for physical illness.

Other add-ons will increase individual tax credits and help shield more than 20 million Americans from the painful alternative minimum tax, and offer breaks for businesses that invest in alternative fuels.

Also, several federal income-tax breaks due to expire will now be extended through 2009.

drinks KOOL AID isn't just for kids anymore.

By the way, there goes the nobama tax hike on rolling back tax breaks set to expire.

I use to be for opening borders.. be fair and nice to immigrants.

What got me to change is this fact...
Mexico is a RICH Country.
The Richest man in the world is Mexican.
By allowing illegal Aliens into this country, we are preventing the Mexican Gov't from taking care of their own people.

Other facts that is important that I don't know how to fit into this issue.

Illegal Aliens are paying into our Welfare system, they don't get the benefits because it is in someone elses name.
Social Security is ALWAYS collected on Salary.
WE are riping the benefits of a cheap labor force.

I don't know... This is a real complex issue and it takes a real leader to solve. I don't think Obama can do it... because it takes compromising their own party stand to make deals. I believe McCain can do it. Palin is an idiot and they should send her back to Alaska.

Yes, the illegals pay into Social Security but they never see into it.

Yes, Palin is an idiot. McCain is no spring chicken. Hmm...Palin as President. Yikes!!

to solve the problem with illegal immigration you really do need someone to go against their party. Almost all of the democratic and republican party were working for a North American Union, similar to the one you see in Europe. Combined currency, law systems, military, etc. Anyhow, since it's exposure they haven't been pushing for it as hard due to public awareness. Nevertheless these people will not take our borders very seriously because their main goal is still the same. Unfortunately McCain falls under this group of people, but at least he isn't caught up in just voting his party line. Obama, is basically just a tool for the democrats. Both are sanctioned by globalists though, chosen by a comittee to ensure that the country will stay it's current course.

Illegal immigraion declines as US economic falters

By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER, Associated Press Writer
Thu Oct 2, 10:57 AM ET

WASHINGTON - Illegal immigration, which has sparked political and social turmoil in communities across the nation, is on the wane, according to an independent report released Thursday.

The number of illegal immigrants entering the United States has slowed significantly the past few years, falling below the number of those entering the country legally, according to the report by the Pew Hispanic Center, a Washington think tank.

The report estimates there were 11.9 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. as of March. That would be a decline of 500,000 from the center's estimate a year ago. However, the change was not statistically significant because of the large margins of error.

The Pew study does not address why the decrease occurred, but other researchers cite the nation's struggling economy and stepped up enforcement of immigration laws.

I just heard on the radio that illegal immigration went down 11% due to our failing economy and increased unemployment.

Unfortunately, when they go home they will find less jobs due to the trickle down effect of our country's financial status.

well...Im just gonna keep saying this till Im blue in the face, the problem with undocumented workers is that Americans keep hiring them....slaphead

Dont want the "illegal problem", stop hiring them....my goodness what does it take for you all to wake up and smell the coffee (made with beans, no doubt picked by an undocumented migrant worker)

To solve the problem of illegal aliens coming into the country from the south would not be too bad. Instead of a fence, dig a 75 foot wide moat 40 feet deep, get all the alligators that are over running the Keys and the neighborhoods in Florida and fill the moat with them.

That's the biggest issue more than likelyflowerforyou flowerforyou

Look how the government sanctions businesses that are brought to trial for such acusations. Once again our government isn't enforcing its own immigration laws. Which once again, brings us back to my last post...

they are going home because the construction industry is dead, winx.

I hope they stay gone. they cause lower piece prices for true craftsmen.

The time is now that they have to be weeded out.

American construction workers need to be working first.

They came here because no one would join the trades. Now we are sufficient in numbers to handle the lesser workload.

If our children thought they could not make easy money being white collar, they wpould have joined the trades.

but since they didn't, the illegals filled the gap.

We need them to stay gone for the sake of Americans.

Not a popular liberal attitude, but they are killing my opportunity to take care of myself, and I am not alone in this.

Re think illegals.

They have to go.

Time has come to deal straight with the blue collar workforce in the country.

Show us some respect.

We showed illegals respect only because our own youth would not come into the trades.

Now we need America's help.

Help us help ourselves.

or not.....

We can stop illegal Aliens in this country in one week.

It is the devil in the details that can cause our economic to fail if we got all the illegal Aliens out of this country.

It is not the borders that we have to enforce.
It is the corporation, Small business and people that hire cheap Illegal Labor...

If we have real serious penalty for hiring Illegal Aliens like lose your business or lose your house... guess what they will stop hiring them.

And Come'on we live in the information age and we can't have an internet system to check a photo with ID matching FBI database to the Cardholding ID.

Our social security card is a piece of paper with our name and number. Why can't they add a photo on it?

I think it is the consequence of flushing out cheap labor that is why we still have illegal Aliens.
