It is my opinion that alot of men do not want relationships. They want someone to go out with, someone to humor them, someone to dance with, watch a movie with, drink with, sleep with, suck **** and make coffee... but they don't want a relationship. Just sayin'.

Actually I was talking about my own!
This guy stayed on the phone with me while I was stuck in the airport on my way to my dad's funeral. (Before I even met him.)
He came to my rescue when my car broke down. He took me car shopping, his friend's birthday party... when I got drunk he gave me his teeshirt, his toothbrush, said he'd take care of me and put me to bed. When I had surgery, he picked me up from the hospital and took me to his house...
but... *this* is not a relationship?!?
And I have to agree with him. Because if he says it's not a relationship, then it can't be one.

Wow. Dude is kinda warped in his idea of what a " relationship " is by the sounds of things.

There are men out there like that. But there are also some of us out here who actually DO want a relationship.

A lot of the time, it's all in what the woman involved will let the guy get away with.

Just as with everything else.. .there are men & women that do want a relationship... and those that don't.

You have to define what it is that you really want/desire first... what you are looking to recieve and what you are intending to offer. once you have done that... then you will find it much easier to weed out those that do not match right from the start.

Do not be so afraid to be solitary with yourself .. that you will lower your standards just to have some company along the way.

It sounds like you've been looking in the wrong place, maybe try a different approach. Personally I don't even bother with one night stands. I want to have sex with someone I really like, the same person for months or years.
