It kind of cracks me up that you think that telepathy would be a good thing. That because it is perceived as a higher power, it is by defintion better. Do you understand the consequences of absolute truth? The anger and pain of mind that would be associated with it? In a telepathic world, even passing thoughts would be felt and heard. Things you think when riled or frustrated would be felt and heard by those around as well. I know I've often had things role through my mind that I'd never want said. I mean there are people that I see every day that irritate me, but they wouldn't know that because I treat them with common curtisy. Telepathy allows for the invasion of the mind from outside, no secrets either. I'm sure everyone done something they aren't proud of, no hiding it. Sometimes devolving takes place because its good. your making it sound likw mind invasion, you misunderstand, you have the power to keep thoughts to yourself, it's not like mel gibsons movie where he has all the womens thoughts coming at him all at once, or jim carry's movie of being god and hearing everyones prayers at once, your not out of control of your own mind or thoughts, what i'm saying is that in such a scenario there would be no real need to keep your thoughts hidden you would have no real good reason to do so, but you still could if you wanted to. Your thinking is connected with how we are now, not what we or others were, and i agree that it would not be good if one had the power now in the state of mind mankind is in, it would not work or be welcome at least for me. Okay, I was missing that. I got the idea of the "hive mentality" much the way honey bees and ant colonies communicate with each other. Between Tribo and JB, I was able to remember something I had forgotten. I didn't get the headaches, but I had a mental connection with someone long ago. It felt like someone was tickling the back of my neck, just at the hairline. She would swear that I could project my voice into hear head (at a distance of over 500 miles), and proved it when she called me and answered a question that was just rattling around in my head. I couldn't hear her, but knew when she was thinking of me. I'd forgotten that, and apologize for sounding sceptical of something I've experienced. Still worry about that hive mentality thing though. Good thing I'm not evolving!!! |

I have two very close friends here in this town where I live and we all read tarot cards, but one of them (Val) is very psychic. She uses the cards, but she never really needs them to do a "reading." She was raised Catholic and had hidden and repressed this ability all her life. She can communicate with people who have passed on and she can come up with information that no way could have come from any tarot card. I am a believer in her abilities. She could make a fortune (Like Silvia Brown does) but she is very reclusive and does not like all that attention nor does she like to charge for readings.) JB that's great, i'm very interested in mans normalcy, or as others call it the "paranormal" If we spent as much time and money studying those things we could be or become again we would ber so much better off than spending trillions of dollars on NASA, in my opinion. As long as it wasn't covert and militarily confined as most things are. |

I don't think humans will develop "hive" mentality, at least I hope not. That is what they say the greys (aliens) have. I think it is a general sharing of instinct and or information.
As far as human instincts go, you might call that "hive" mentality. There are certain universal signals that everyone understands. I was once approached by a man in a bar who could not speak English at all, but within one second I knew what he wanted. All he did was smile and raise his eyebrows up and down twice. He wanted to connect. He was flirting. He wanted sex. It was an instant communication and had nothing to do with telepathy. But yet the physical expression sent the message. How did I know that? .... hive mentality? ...was it learned or natural? I don't know for sure. JB |

from what i understand the type 1 do not have a bee mentality, the others may, but i think it's more of a semi hive mentality, they are all working together to accomplish, but they still are individual. Think of it as a team effort when scientist or others work on a project, thay all have a goal, but they all are seperate also and do other things.

Psychologists would call it a learned response. I might even go so far as to say there would be a base animal instinct from the hypothalimos telling you "he wants sex." But then we ARE men, and that's kind of implied. |

This guy was making a proposition, asking a question, making a pass. It was so obvious, I could have slapped his face and he would have understood that signal. LOL (And yet no words at all were spoken, and he did not touch me.) I had never had that kind of signaled proposition before in my life but I knew what it meant. It was very clear. It was body language I guess. JB |

I think I would agree. Religion in that time period might have been based more on gut instinct and what was actually there presented for all to see. My assumption is that it took these early humans some time before they even derived the correlation between intercourse and an infant arriving nine months later. It was probably quite spooky for them. Even after they made the connection, the woman still had the main functional role as far as delivering the child. Sorry Krimsa, i meant i believe that we came here from someplace else, another dimension or universe, we settled the planet and brought forth life as we now know it, and during that past time we have devolved, our knowledge has diminished greatly, almost extinguished, and we are just 'barely' starting to get back to where we once were. think of it as the difference between NOW and the dark ages - only much much more so to say the least. my thoughts anyway - You could be correct Tribo. I think that at one time all life forms including humanoids communicated via telepathically. That being so, they also were more connected, understood each other better, learned faster, etc. When that was taken or devolved away from them, they fell into fear and ignorance as generations pasted. Just a thought. JB Sorry for stepping so far back in the conversation (how do you keep up and still have time to breath?) It's been my sense that man is evolving w/ regards to communication. Before I had my daughter, I'd been very involved in online forums on "Tribe". Many times I'd wake in the middle of the night knowing that a peson needed to talk, go to my computer and that same individual would have just messaged me w/ a need to connect (my sound card was broken, so no sound and pc was in a different room w/ the screen turned off). As our communication technology advances, we put forth less and less physical effort to connect (just look at the advances in cellular communications over such a short amount of time). I believe that it is within the realm of possibilty, that humans will advance beyond hand-held devices. Now... Whether or not this is because we organically evolve or have brain chips implanted remains to be seen. Based on my own experience, I see human kind as being fully capable of organic telepathy w/out the use of any man-made technology. |

Thnx SL, I think that is what all of us are basing it on "our own experiences" For those who have had such, and i believe there to be many, it cannot be denied. for others who have not or even pondered upon the possibility that something of that nature has happened to them and pass it off as just "coincidences" will also come to see this in the future. i also think your correct on both accounts, for sure man will be capable of placing a device within, but not with the same results as we can have on our own, it would be very limited at best and as all things made by man break or need repair or replacing. so i hope for the best that man will seriously look to his own abilities rather than depend on electronics. - |

The technology is already here to plant chips in your brains. Phones are getting smaller and smaller, now people are wearing some sort of ear plug and they look like they are running around talking to themselves.
But technology is for third density inhabitants and it will not work in the next density. Hehehehehehe... The reptilian elite will be stuck with implants in their heads while humans will be talking back and forth the natural way. JB |

Memes are some of the fundamental building blocks of mind and culture. This makes complete sense to me. All human inventions have copied nature. As technology continues to advance, so will our ability to access a neural network or telepathic connection... Then, human made copies will become obsolete. |

I hope we don't use technology to enhance our ability to communicate telepathically. What would be the physical ramificatrions of something like that?
I'm still not convinced that the increased rates of cancer aren't connected to the fact that we bombard ourselves with radio waves constantly. Satellite signals, radar, microwaves (both cell and kitchen), tv and radio waves, these things are all new to the face of the earth, less than 100 years old. It used to be the only waves of that spectum that passed through you came from the sun. Now we make them constantly, and are nailed with them constantly (even when I put the tinfoil in my hat). So please, if man must evolve, fine, I'll deal with that. But I don't need anymore technology in that department. Besides I don't need a chip to know that no one is calling me. I can hear that phone not ringing fine. If they implant chips, will we get telepathy telemarketers? You know they'll let those charity groups slide. That's all I need, that call that's always "I'm calling for Mrs. C&&#@ll, I'm from the Sherrif's Association" rolling through my head when I'm trying to mow the lawn. No, the more I think of it, the more I'm fine with my telepathy only being with those that I have a certain connection too, and having to speak verbally to the rest of you. |
