I don't think that is a good idea. I dislike it because it makes me feel unsafe while i'm outside doing my job which is collecting carts and other stuff, even though I allready feel unsafe enough anywayz.

It is that whereever you work, you are allowed to bring you gun and leave it in you car,truck, or whatever you drive.

I sure as hell don't like it. Now, I've got to be suspicious of everyone I work with, wondering if the next time I say something they don't like, they'll come in and blow my brains out? Nuh uh.... no thanks.

I like the law - but like everything else all it takes is one person to mess it up for the rest.

my opinion is:
Guns dont kill people; people use guns to kill people.

You should all understand that this law is for law abiding people to be able to protedt themselves. If you were a woman who had to drive an hour to work through undesirable or vast areas you would want to be sure you had some safety factor if you broke down or were assaulted by a vehicle of young thugs like was attempted on my mother and sister in law. But you gat to work and your not allowed to have you gun locked in your car, then what do you do?

You drive in unsafe areas or have no back up for an unsafe event because other people don't want you to be able to protect yourself.

Do you really think a felon,criminal,thug or anyone else gives a **** about laws ?????

I agree from what i've seen people that have this law feel safer and are safer. Bad guys only pick on the weak.

Chances are if they are crazy enough to use it, they are prbly going to do it anyway whether it is legal or not lol.

Ok, here is my logic . . if that person decides to blast you . . why would they be concerned with a low grade felony (having a gun in there care when it is illegal) when they are choosing to commit a capital offense in killing you?


The law is only respected by law abiding citizens . . .

A person who decided to commit a capital offense has little to concern themselves with lesser laws . . .

Precisely . . . redundant laws = useless laws.

The only person you are preventing to have a gun handy (by having a law restricting where you can have your gun) is someone who would respect the law in the first place . .. IE someone who wouldn't blast you without due cause.

i think it's a great law.
i have a central nervous system disorder, and sometimes i need to use a cane. i'm in pain alot and i can't walk very fast. i feel like a target sometimes and i definately wouldn't be able to defend myself if someone attacked me. i wouldn't even be able to run away.
so, hurray to florida.

In a couple of years people will think nothing of it and go about their lives as they have always done. Your more like to win the lottery than get hit by a bullet in the cross fire of a permit holding gun owner and his attacker.
