We simply don't know! Why we don't even know if he existed many archaelogists claim!

What I do know is that the time we have now we can choose to enjoy it in happiness or we can choose feel insecure, miserable and in fear.

That is a choice one can take without the help of a book to tell us how to do this.

When I am weak I sit and contemplate about how bad others have it compared to me! I don't need to go to a bible, koran, or torah to figure this out. I just find a way to be thankful without the help of a religious book.

If I am sick I concentrate on my mind to want to heal myself. I don't seek help from a belief system! You are the healer yourself by believing in yourself!

It is not hard. It can go on and on with different aspects of feelings. Sad, Angry, Happy, Childish, etc.

One can figure out how to deal with it if one has the time to sit and contemplate on it.

If Jesus did exist then I am sure he would not be happy of how many times his stories have been revised. He may even eliminate some of them because they are simply not true! Everything is possible.

Try this say a sentence about something one day with alot of people in a hall. Have that person say the same thing to another person. After 20 people the last one says what you have supposed to have said into your ear. You will be surprised that what that person said is nothing of what you said at all.

The likelyhood is great!

This is what happened to all of these religous books and NO one knows the actualality of its context no matter how certain you may feel!

What I meant to ask is if the description of the return of Jesus is taken as true, describe what you as a Christian, or even as a non-Christian see the events happening.

For example, will he come down from the sky on a cloud? Will there be a spaceship involved? What will he look like? What will he do? What will happen etc.

How will the world react? Will it be on the news? Will people believe it? Will people question it? Etc.

I don't fear Jesus if he existed. Why should I unless the Bible teaches us to fear him then I can understand why Christians use fear in this world.

We already know that tolerance is not practiced in the Bible. If so then why are we threatened if we don't believe we must face the consequences. I am told this all the time in here.

Perhap if Jesus came back he would nod his head in dismay saying this is exactly what I was not teaching. How it has been revised a thousand times is truly sad. Then he would slam the book shut and say let us rewrite this book.

First we shall say everyone will have a safe haven when they die. Those who believe or not!

Second under the certain circumstances of how life is lived today and how it was lived back then will have some changes and Jesus would hire a good typist to rewrite those rules.

Then he would summon Moses, Mohammed, Buddha, some hindu gods, sumerian gods, egyptian gods, greek gods and ask for everyone to form a circle to hold hands. He then would ask for everyone to pray to bring peace, tolerance, love, and solutions for a safer planet.

The very idea that people have been blinded to the true God implies that they are totally innocent and could not possibly have been responsible for their choices.

This flies in the very face that their had free will choice and knowingly rejected God.

This is just one of and endless list of self-contradictions in this religion.

If God is purposely blinding people to him (or allowing evil demons to blind people), then he can't very well claim that those people KNOWINGLY made a FREE WILL choice to reject him.

Clearly someone needs to take this religion back to the drawing board and get rid of all these absurd contraditions.

Lets say I wanted or you wanted to make a movie about the second coming of Christ. What would it be like? How would you make that movie.

Everybody talks about the crucification and makes movies about all the other Biblical stories but why hasn't anyone done one about the second coming and how that happens and what happens before and after that and how it effects the people of the planet etc.

We have heard many whispers of superstitions, imagination, and rumors and there is no proof that there is a god rather you want to believe it or not. It can be all man made imagination. Maybe the books were written initially for children to behave with their parents for all I care!

Just because you read a book that says so makes you so certain it is true. Why because of when it was written?

The scholars who wrote the bible where challenging roman authority. That is it. They were wise as they used ancient religious belief systems and intergrated them to create a new one. Well we call that mythology now since no one really believes in greek or ancient egyptian religions anymore.

One can live a great life without believing anything if one thinks positive. I do it and I don't need a bible, koran, and torah to tell me. I actually would never want to join such a community with the reputation they have today causing the many disagreements and wars they create.

I am lucky that I didn't have parents who forced a religious belief onto me and then teach more people theories and not facts.

Faith can be created in one owns conscience without the use of a religious book. My faith is that I am going to better places.
