I believe that in that moment, the world will know that Jesus has returned and every single person will have their blinders fall off their eyes. The very idea that people have been blinded to the true God implies that they are totally innocent and could not possibly have been responsible for their choices. This flies in the very face that their had free will choice and knowingly rejected God. This is just one of and endless list of self-contradictions in this religion. If God is purposely blinding people to him (or allowing evil demons to blind people), then he can't very well claim that those people KNOWINGLY made a FREE WILL choice to reject him. Clearly someone needs to take this religion back to the drawing board and get rid of all these absurd contraditions. We can't have innocent people being blamed for having been blinded.  Especially by a God who plays hide-&-seek and guessing games. Such a God would be a horribly deceitful game player.  Hardly an all-wise, loving "Heavenly Father". The religion can't be true because it flies in the face of it's own requirements that people are supposed to be purposefully and knowingly rejecting God by their own FREE WILL CHOICE. This is a terribly deceitful man-made religion that wants to have it's cake and eat it too. CLEARLY it can't be from any all-wise creator. It's riddled with far too many self-contradictions. Such a God would be untrustworthy.  You must be real fun at parties. I was actually talking about the blinders we each put on. That's why the Bible tells us that the Jews will mourn for having not trusted Jesus the first time around. Those who rejected God will gnash their teeth in frustration and terror. And those who are saved will rejoice. We each choose what evidence we will accept or reject, we each choose what we believe. I believe that the second coming will be a time of truth. IF THIS BE ALL THE TRUTH, THAN ANSWER ME ONE SCRIPTURE......."NO MAN CAN RESIST THE WILL OF GOD".......whcih one is BIGGER, you or GOD......obviously you think you are, and these i heard him say cast ALL the FIRST stones, lol......and why any that do such WILL be the only ones LAST to taste of peace, but ALL shall have peace, as NONE can resist the amazing will of the truth, when it is SHOWN in all it's power of might and FORGIVNESS!!! oh, and it was said "god blinded the jews for the sake of the gentiles"........so does it not stand true that the gentiles shall ALSO be blinded, only to see their OWN ignorance, lol....... |

What I meant was the unknown...Imagine the reaction if "flying saucers" suddenly began cruising around during the day time hours, NORAD detected them approaching and publicised the fact they were approaching. I think the majority of ppl would simply panic and sh*t themselves to death. Same kind of terror would occur if such an unexplainable thing as Christ's second coming occurred. The fear of the unknown, the terror of the misunderstood happenings is a common thread of our beings

I didn't need the bible to teach me right from wrong! I commited no sins in my lifetime and always obeyed the laws. I WILL go further in my afterlife beyond any. Isn't that amazing though that I am going to a happy place because the all mighty god or gods, or goddesses, or spirits, or allah, or whatever you want to call it has no choice. I am equal to him! Now isn't that a twist of things in life! Wow this is so illogical for you that you can't believe it! That is the whole point. I believe for the energy in and around me believes I will go further in places in different dimensions and see new things in another life! Now those who do wrong do they go to hell? If they do how are you soooo certain? Because a book says so or because humans don't tolerate it and punish for they believe it is bad? Yes Judges that sentence criminals are also atheists, agnostic, or spiritual. Why many don't even practice Christianity or any of its denominations! A great book to read is by Thomas Paine "Common Sense". He challenges what is perceived as common sense with religious belief systems. |

I don't believe in a god or servants of god and still will see happiness in the end. One doesnt' have to follow a religion to believe in ones self! I can believe in my own conscience and find it the absolute way to finding what we all look for. It is the fact of believing in oneself and some can do it without the need of a book to teach them to do it! The power of faith in oneself is enough to believe you will find a way to a better place is also powerful. |

If Jesus came back I would give him a high five and say what took you so long! I would then continue and ask: Can you fix for us world hunger, make everyone vegetarians, eliminate the feeling of hate and greed, fix corruption, help find a way to resolve pollution, bring peace amongst those who don't believe in christianity, increase knowledge of space travel, eliminate violence, eliminate slave labor, and get rid of life threatening sicknesses and diseases. Smilesss...God did not do this..man did  But God will NOT force Himself on Man, to turn to Him, so God CAN help. God cannot go agaisnt His WORD...God can ONLY come into Our lives If we ask Him in..THEN God is ABLE to MOVE on our situation. But God cannot come in, unless INVITED. |

...I really think most people would be absolutely terrified to the point of speachlessness. I suppose if you view your creator as your enemy you might feel that way. The very last thing I would fear is my creator. My creator is most certainly nicer than me. As long at that's true I'm in great shape. If it's not true, then that would make me superior to my very own creator, which isn't likely. Not if you were genetically created in a lab to be bred as a slave. Not if you were genetically created in a lab to be bred as a slave. Perhaps your creator is not all that nice after all. Well this is true. This sure seem to be what Christians are selling because the God they speak off seems to be a totally heartless jerk who's only interested in obedient slaves. In that's the case then I most certainly am compassionately superior to the slave Master. I've also stated in the past that if this is the case, and I'm afforded a choice, I will freely chose death over eternal slavery. No hard feelings required. It was just a terrible nightmare that would be over once I'm put to death.  I perfer to believe that my creator is either more loving than me, or is me.  Anything less would truly be a nightmare. The idea that God could be less wise then me, less loving than me, and downright cruel is not something I care to entertain. If it turns out to be true, I guess I'll have to deal with it, but that won't change the fact that such a creator would truly be a demon, not a God. I've always been taught that Jesus represents the ultimate love. If that's true than I have absolutely nothing to worry about. Christians who use Jesus to spread fear and hate are truly the lowest of all of God's creatures. |

Not to ruin the forum Jeannie started, I will try to keep on track with her question. Perhaps if Jesus comes back and says when you die nothing happens. that is it!! How about that! We simply don't know! Why we don't even know if he existed many archaelogists claim! What I do know is that the time we have now we can choose to enjoy it in happiness or we can choose feel insecure, miserable and in fear. That is a choice one can take without the help of a book to tell us how to do this. When I am weak I sit and contemplate about how bad others have it compared to me! I don't need to go to a bible, koran, or torah to figure this out. I just find a way to be thankful without the help of a religious book. If I am sick I concentrate on my mind to want to heal myself. I don't seek help from a belief system! You are the healer yourself by believing in yourself! It is not hard. It can go on and on with different aspects of feelings. Sad, Angry, Happy, Childish, etc. One can figure out how to deal with it if one has the time to sit and contemplate on it. If Jesus did exist then I am sure he would not be happy of how many times his stories have been revised. He may even eliminate some of them because they are simply not true! Everything is possible. Try this say a sentence about something one day with alot of people in a hall. Have that person say the same thing to another person. After 20 people the last one says what you have supposed to have said into your ear. You will be surprised that what that person said is nothing of what you said at all. The likelyhood is great! This is what happened to all of these religous books and NO one knows the actualality of its context no matter how certain you may feel! |
