curious though.....if we are hatemongering and we want to keep illegals out and toughen up on employers (for reasons stated)...why do you want to keep them out and toughen up on them getting jobs dragoness????? we have reasons that you say is full of hate and we forget they are people...so why do you want do keep them out and not let them have jobs????

Way more citizens fraud the welfare then illegals do. does that make any sense???? illegal is illegal implying fraud, lying etc. what about those that get free medical???? They do not get free medical. If they go to a county hospital needing emergency care the hospital has the choice of serving them or not. But they get no medical from us otherwise. You would be surprised at how many of them actually pay their bills. I have seen it so I know. The hospitals bill them just like they do us and they actually pay. This is because someone here has illegally employed them here. you're right...ALL you were doing was arguing hatemongering... (sarcasm). most illigeal immigrants get paid very little but is alot in their country....how are they going to pay medical bills????? their are some that do i'm sure....but how do you bill someone who is here illegally???? again...the term ILLEGAL. i'm not arguing about that employers should have harsher punishments. but there are some that come over to have their kids in the hospitals so they can be US citizens. Well and here if you knew enough about their culture of living you would know that they support one another. That is how they have the money to live and pay bills. They deal in cash only so they cannot run up debt, they will share living quarters to lessen cost, they share meals lessens cost, etc.... They do not have government to turn to for support here so they support each other that is how they do well for themselves. But if they had no jobs to hire them then they would not want to be here. don't assume I don't know how they live...I DO. but again you forget education and medical. that is another reason to come here. If you cannot get a loan, get furniture on credit, get a car on credit, buy a house, etc... then you have the extra to pay a hospital bill. They buy their cars with cash, they buy everything with cash. That is the point there. This is a load of crap. This is a dream world that you, and you alone live in. In the past two years I have had 5, listen to what i am saying FIVE (5) trucks hit in California by illegal immigrants with no drivers license, nor insurance. Did they pay their debt to me? Nope, MY insurance went up, they were deported, so they could sneak back across the border the following day. They steal revenue out of the economy. You know why? They take the money they make, and send the majority of it back to Old Mexico. They take jobs that we could force welfare recipients here to do that are able bodied. You cannot get a white crew on a roof in STL because they canot compare with the prices that the illegal crews are handing out. Guess what happens after the first rain though? The homeowner generally has a lot of leaks, and cannot track them back down to get repairs. They pay their debt at the hospitals? Bs, they skip on bills as they cannot be traced. You repeat the same thing over and over, and never add anything new to it. Keep telling me I am hateful, but nobody who is not a citizen of this country deserves protection under the law. I do not even agree with handouts, and free rides to our own citizens, why would I desire to pay more for something (like my insurane) because of people who are illegally here? My insurane on my rig trucks was far from cheap to begin with. I dropped Ca as a mnt state soley to get my rates back inline because of their crap I still did not say they are not a problem, I said that the problem is we hire them here so they come here. they get paid lower than minimum wage and under the table...that is why they pay in cash. i pay taxes through buying things too...as well as taxes out of income. so they are only paying tax because they have to to get food, gas etc????? that is a drop in the bucket. most send a majority of their money to their families back home...that is why they live together etc. cash has nothing to do with whether or not someone can get in debt. how do you explain a pregnant woman about to give birth coming here to give birth???? how does she get billed???? the hospitals can't refuse to treat her. keeping them out of the sountry by border control and not giving them jobs...is the same haemongering as you are complaining about then. it's not hatemongering to think it's wrong for citizens to pay for illegals...which it is a problem. i never once said that citizens abuse the systems too. you are generalizing in here. you put words in my mouth like surrounded. they have to support their families on less than minimum wage...do you realize how much it costs to buy a car or hospital bills?????? Actually they get paid more than minimum wage but in cash, the employers are able to pay them pretty well since they do not have to pay taxes for the employees or benes for the employees ect....

hmmmm interesting...so if they work for MORE than minimum wage....how is it slave labor???? but maybe SOME employers pay that but for the most part...they pay less because it is "cheap labor" employers can get away with it because they will work for it and paid under the table. they pay less because citizens won't work for more than minimum wage????? no they do it because they pay less than minimum wage since they are illegal...they don't have the right sof citizens but they choose to risk their lives to come here anyway

I love all my brothers and sisters in this country, and would do anything to help them in a time of need (ask some on this board) without even knowing them. I take exception to people who are not here legally, and it makes no difference if they are from europe, canada, peru, or nigeria. I believe in laws, and equal enforcement of laws. Without equal enforcement of laws there is no justice for anyone

I do not agree with trying to make them as unhuman as possible so we do not have to feel the human pain with them. My point the whole time is to not make it us and them, make it a human issue that needs to be addressed about fellow humans who by whatever personal reason have violated the laws of the land. We can be just and fair without being hateful and spiteful of our fellow humans. We are a great country built from immigrants and I can understand why they want to come here but I agree they should do it legally and if we would stop hiring them the problem would not be what it is.

It doesn't happen there anymore but that is what they got paid, minimum wage is less then that. The employers come out ahead by paying them, they do not have to pay taxes on the employees and no benes, no workmans comp insurance, no other insurances that employers have to pay to have a place of employment. This is the problem, they hire them so they come here for the work.

My insurane on my rig trucks was far from cheap to begin with. I dropped Ca as a mnt state soley to get my rates back inline because of their crap Funny you mentioned the roofers in St. Louis. It is so true. I got a new roof and on the first rain it leaked. I blamed Labor Ready (no Hispanics though). My friends have complained that they hire a legit company and think there are legit workers on the roof. When they want to talk to somebody on the roof, they are surprised to find only Hispanics and nobody can speak English. And, yes, the roofs have leaked. I don't know if you know about this, Rob. My father told me he read it in the paper. St. Louis has allowed some kind of contract to hire people from Mexico to come here this spring and summer to perform yardwork. When the season is over, they are to go back to Mexico. I didn't realize that we had a shortage of people that wanted to work. The going rate for lawncutters around me is $25.00 per lawn.

hmmmm interesting...so if they work for MORE than minimum wage....how is it slave labor???? but maybe SOME employers pay that but for the most part...they pay less because it is "cheap labor" employers can get away with it because they will work for it and paid under the table. they pay less because citizens won't work for more than minimum wage????? no they do it because they pay less than minimum wage since they are illegal...they don't have the right sof citizens but they choose to risk their lives to come here anyway The illegals who used to wait on the corner here in town for the employers to come and pick them up for labor jobs got paid 10 dollars an hour. It doesn't happen there anymore but that is what they got paid, minimum wage is less then that. The employers come out ahead by paying them, they do not have to pay taxes on the employees and no benes, no workmans comp insurance, no other insurances that employers have to pay to have a place of employment. This is the problem, they hire them so they come here for the work. then that is there...not here. there are still illegals that hang out at places here for employers to come. they keep moving because they keep getting busted. they keep busting employers paying less than minimum wage here. and of course the employers don't pay insurance, benefits, work comp etc....why should they. i completely agree and have been saying all along that there should be tougher laws on employers...but illegals choose to come here...and it's not only for jobs

They cannot get welfare or any kind of public benefits. If they only come here for medical attention then why stay if they cannot find work?
