but did you knw i was arguing with myself the whole time and a hospital can refuse treatment???? all this time i thought the had to take an oath and treat people. the private hospitals are (so i thought lol) required to at least stablize people to transfer them to county hospitals

I am too tired to try to "defend"myself. I never said anything hatefukl or racist as a matter of fact the example I used was a white family.

The stygma with welfare is that they all are frauding and that isn't true. That is where the prejudice comes in at. Most of my clients who frauded were white also.

I said the hospitals choose to treat them and I would have it no other way but my point was, how you missed it I don't know, that there are far more citizens who do not pay their bills because there are far more citizens and the stats they use on the hate sites for "proof" of the indigent cost is a lump sum of all legal and illegals so it is not accurate. and agina....YOU have apparently missed it when i said citizens don't pay as well. but again..this is about illegals. the doctors took the HIPPOCRATIC OATH and the hospitals can be held liable. a private hospital doesn't have to admit a patient based on insurance...but in emergencies, they have to stabilize them for transfer to a community hospital. most of the hospitals where illegals go are community hospitals pai by the tax payers. again...if for some reason your state doesn't do this...they need to rethink patients well being.

Now as for the hospitals, my point, yet again, all along has been that the stats used for hospital costs for illegals is inaccurate because they do not have the figures split out for illegals and citizens. Hospitals should treat everyone, I never said any different. I did not lay blame on the hospitals at all.

I never said illegals were not a problem that needed to be handled correctly by stopping employers from employing them.

and MY point of what i posted about your "stats" was even your candidate even knows there is a HUGE problem.... and i would hope they are privy to the stats. and yes ... there are ways on (on hospital admission forms) that ask. they still get treated. somehow, somewhere...there are stats that maybe you don't know about because it isn't something you need to be cc'd on. It is my understanding every city has at least one hospital that treats everyone. Regardless of the ability to pay. They treat the sick person.

Yes, I did. I was an ADC/TANF/OWF, FS and Medicaid caseworker for families.

And I agree about the hospitals. My mother is a nurse, my dad is a doctor, and my stepmom is an NP. So I know they will treat. Emergent care, of course.

i know alot of people go in without having insurance and it's hard to collect the outstanding bills. i used to do billing lol. so i know it's hard to collect from citizens alone

Yes, and I also know they take payments. They took mine.

We got 7 ppl 2 cases of beer and bottle of jack into a beetle one night......turned out to be a pretty good party too.
