I remember the days of a house full of folks
of laughter and joy and the same old jokes of family extended and love from my man when we'd fish from the dock or walk hand in hand of a church that was close and supported each other of the accents of stories from his mother and others. told in a southern comfortable way just like their food that made you want to stay My life was expanded in so many directions and though there was pain, it felt like perfection Now its me and the four walls and of course my work and surviving through a series of jerks I don't need a lot but miss my old friends and hugs and his smile when the day ends a prince may be out there but perhaps we only get one I've had the best so maybe I am done. (not a but poetic - but just real) |

That would depend on what was "negotiated." Hopefully it would bring smiles to all involved.                    (all the smiles I could find) So let me get this straight putting on a french maid costume , cooking a nd cleaning for you would bring big smiles to our faces  And if we are really lucky we could negotiate doing your laundry too? Heck right now I'd take an apprentice knight in rusty armor! I'm thinkin' 45 - usually everything still works, they have something to talk about and we can train 'em in how to take care of us ladies in waiting Well since I have dated the 45 yr olds..hmm. But I would love an older knight who has seen battles, loss, and love. Oh lala! I am sure I could help him polish up his armor. polish ready and waiting |

At 57 I can still do most of what I did at 45. Just takes a little longer & can't carry as much as I used too. I need them to be in shape to carry ME because my back has been so messed up the last two weeks I can hardly walk :o) I still have a strong back, to go with the weak mind. lol! |

I don't like how quiet my house is but I do like doing as I please and not having some tell me to put something away! The quiet solitude of morning in your house smells of the essence of your touching care The silence does not purify a home of life but accentuates each item like a snapshot. Flashes of choices your character has made freeze into an album of pictures without you. The missing person is obvious but undefined. I sleepwalked thru in a curious dreaming. When your man arrives, you will increase. I cannot imagine boxing up these things to lock your individuality away for a union, but we willingly trade gems for rainbows; needing constant loving life over pictures, trading what once was for tickets to paradise. loved that! |
