ok - regardless of your politics - can we admit that the news conference was the most boring in recent history. Whatever you thought about Bush, at least he was entertaining and talked like a real person. This mess last night was a speech diguised as a press conference. 10 minute answer to the first question? Never actually looked into the camera as if he was talking to us. An hour of gloom amd doom. Why should we spend any money when the warnings are so dire and make you just want to put your money under the mattress, stock up on gas, water and canned goods and pray for the end to come? There ARE serious issues and challenges for our country. But that Speech Conference did not change my mind about the Porkulus package that will be passed today unless Snowe, Collins and Specter find backbones. We need some kind of targeted intervention, but this massive governement spending is not the answer. Totally disagree, I didnt find it boring at all rather informative. I agree. I liked the press questions too. I had to listen to it while driving. lol agree that is was boring or that it was informative...I would have had to pull off the road for safety :o) It was informative. I agreed to that. Why would I have to pull off of the road for safety? I would have been asleep |

The inventive numbers are not informative. He said absolutely nothing new. The stimulus needs to have two phases and he refuses to see that - immediate needs and long term. |

How about Saturday nights? That's the night where I feel like I don't belong anywhere. Weeknights I'm pretty much too tired to care. Friday night I catch up on all the TV I fell asleep on during the week :o) Saturday morning is errands and such. Then comes Saturday night - couples night - and I just get so frustrated with not having anyone.

5x10 I imagine Valentine's day is rough for a lot of people especially in this age group when we have lost our partners.Myself it has been 12 yrs and New Years eve and His birthday and Valentine's day are a little rough. My girlfriend Is going through a divorce so we decided to go out for this coming holiday! Yeah, those days are hard. People think I am strange when I say New Years is hard...glad I'm not alone! May is very hard too. My husband's birthday was the 4th, mine on the 8th, and our anniversary on the 22nd! It does get easier as the years fly by. Thanks for your kind words! ((( ))) you are so right - Mother's day is hard because I don't get along with mine, have lost all the "mother" figures in my life and have never been one. Father's day the same because I lost mine at 20. Labor Day - Both my husband and my dad passed on Labor day weekend 25 years apart. and the beat goes on. |

It seems not all that long ago
when this frame worked somewhat well when it was flexible and strong and could work all through the day and night when it answered my demands with no complaint little rest was needed, no creaking, abundant energy, those were the days. Then 30 years of life happened car accidents and such and everyday now is a new adventure of careful movement, heating pads muscle rubs and bone cracking by the doc. **************************************** Today is quite depressing.I could not go to work The sudden pain in my upper back brought tears to my eyes. I was dressed and ready and in my car...and just had to turn around and go home....not a good thing for a teacher...took a vicodin...have heat on it and going to the doc whenever it eases up enough for me to drive. Please pray for me. I am about ready to give up and take disability. Never thought you would hear those words come out of my mouth. Thanks |
