Hello everybody.
My last SO was a Scrabble fanatic. His present girlfriend is a lousy Scrabble player so he still comes here to play Scrabble with me. I don't think she likes it much. The last person I dated is not a Scrabble player. He says he has not played Scrabble for forty years and wasn't good at it then. He is more of a numbers person. But I think I can get him to play with a few incentives. Do you play games on dates? I don't mean head games; I mean real games. |

Oh, &...before I forget...To all Warriors & Vets...past, present & future...thank you so much for your service. I am proud to be an American... 
We rented The Book Thief last night and it brought out conversation with my 12 yr old daughter. In school, they're touching on WWII and Nazis, etc., so the movie was a catalyst for conversation. It's an excellent movie. But our consensus, after the movie and my telling her a few stories about her grandparents and great aunts, uncles, etc., was that we are proud and lucky to be Americans. So, yes. We thank our military for their service and their lives. On another note--sort of--is anyone watching Turn on AMC? You know, I did watch Turn last night because it was on before Madmen and there wasn't much else on. It did look interesting but I hate coming into a series in the middle. |

However...I will admit to indulging...at times...in the Italian delight...spinach, shroom, chicken, Alfredo pizza. A light creamy change from the "tomoto" version. I was given special dispensation from the Vatican...so, I will indeed...NOT go to Hell...

Noooooo...I must draw the line at pineapple pizza! Yes, my mama loved it so I suffered through...but a REAL pizza is a Meat Lover's with shrooms...& don't eeeven get me started on those BBQ'd travesties...AAACK! My ex liked pineapple pizza but I could never get into it. We compromised and got half pineapple. |

Yes Q, And to all those who succeeded in surviving buta as a consequence had disabilities If I wasn't a pacifist before Viet Nam I definitely became one after. I was married to a Viet Nam vet and new several others from the VFW. No one came out of that war without scars, visible or not. I'm sure the young men and women who are fighting now are also affected. At least they are there by choice, not by draft. |

I had a turtle when I was a kid but it died on me. I have that effect on turtles and men named James. Too bad you didn't date Prisoner/Pepper....

Good morning Phuque.
For my birthday I ordered a T shirt which said "It's a Marcia thing, you wouldn't understand." Size 2x so it covers everything. My ex SO wants me to get him a T shirt for his birthday (black with gold lettering) that says "Man Thang". How about "I was deleted from DH"? |

I used to collect those state quarters. I had one of those collection books. Then my roomer/boarder stole some of them (probably to buy cigarettes). He denied it but I don't think the cats did it.
Another good reason to not have roommates. |

@esme Look into "Myfi", it's 4G wireless internet that is also a 5 device hotspot. I have the previous 3G model and it works great, provided you have decent cell service in the area. (Mine is on the Sprint network). I will have to ask my neighbor Mike the Geek (retired Verizon) about that. He's my technical adviser. |
