I just read an article about a secret santa who had dark sunglasses and a scarf wrapped around his head who gave a woman two 100 dollar bills as a part of a secret santa. If you go to yahoo you can read about it. It is a great article, because this man did it in honor of a friend who used to hand out 100 dollar bills as a secret santa every year upon one condition, the person given the money has to do something nice for someone else. I thought this was the most awesomest story I have heard yet this year. It touched my heart.

My mother used to have some of the most interesting freinds. Characters for sure these people were, and some of them were not so sweet and cuddly that is. Some were hardened criminals others were family members who were feeling the pinch and others who were not yet stable in their lives. I remember my mom would befriend them and help them as best as she could giving them food and drink or maybe even clothes we didn't wear anymore. Sometimes if she could she would give them a few dollars too. Mom would always invite friends for holidays too. Some of those holidays were questionable with certain people present. But still, I knew why she did it. She liked making friends and she was kind to all of them unless they made her angry and than they were in bad shape. Momma was never one you wanted mad at you no matter who you were. In other words, mama didn't take no shnit from anyone, LOL

This holiday season, I find I am in a very hard financial place and yet I am still greatful for what I have. I think everyone is in a hard place right now and if it isn't the weather causing people good energy to drop low its our financial situations and means of providing basic needs for ourselves.

This year I will have no gifts to give, so instead I giving my time to my family by helping them take care of thier children as they go to work. Or helping family clean their house for the winter. If chance should have it I may do more. One day at a time I say, and sometimes one moment at a time.

I didn't write this forum peice for any particular reason, except perhaps to hear your ideas for easy gifts and helpful hands this christmas. So, what have you done in the past, what are you doint now to bring some christmas to the people in your life or people in need?

I do my best to keep my difficulties to myself these days instead of discussing them as openly as I have here in the past. Even than I wasn't that open. I have been to psych units seven times in the 18 years. I was not medication steadily but the medications I was taking have caused many of my major physical illnesses including breaking down my immune system and causes me two ulcers and acid reflux disease also some of the medications caused me to gain more than 80 pounds in one year. It has been hard to lose any of it since. I had to get off of the antisychotic I was taking because of my health issues. But it would seem now that I am off of them and on something else, my health problems have only worsened. I would say to anyone taking medications, be careful, most of us take them because we are desperate but if you take them too long they can really mess you up, make sure you know all the sideaffects and illnesses your medication can cause and then gauge it properly. Stay on top of your physical health and take note when you start to notice something out of the ordinary like stomach pain or wieght gain or reaccuring infections. hugs

Today I had some time alone and so did what I had been wanting to do for a while now, finally mustering all of my strength I claimed my life back and gave it to God all mighty. I Prayed and lay my burdens at Gods feet and I gave myself back to God, all though, I was always his, and he had been getting me back slowly. I Belong to God confirmed once and for all, I had had enough of messing around with other beliefs and ideas, finally I just couldn't stand it anymore. I knew who my father was no matter what I did. So I blessed my entire home and prayed with all my heart and gave it all back to God who needs me more than anyone else. I love God, I never stopped loving him. I will no longer let the spirits of depressions, hate, or any form of evil control my life. Yup, I back where I was suppose to be. Merry Christmas everyone! The Blue Cucumber

Hmmmm, good quetion chris, I would say reality isn't for everyone, its all in how each person views it differantly. One persons reality will be another persons hell or treasure. I for one, prefer reality as a mixed media in my mind, never giving and never surrendering its deepest secrets to me in totality. Some people say, reality is as reality does, but in truth, how do we know our milk really isn't blue when looked at the right way, and really, what is, the right way to anything, and if good be good, than why are we so darn inclined to be bad all the time? I think we can make all the exuses in the world to why the world as we know it is the way it is, or we can simply percieve it in the only way we know how, or the way we have grown into understanding it. And in truth, there are more realities to two people in one room then a team of psychologists and scientists can gather in a single lifetime. So in short, reality is what you make it. smiles

Into my mind when reality hits, that is f**king scary!!!!! For realies though! LOL
