YAY.. I FINALLY got that dang 2x6x16 down, fixed it, and reinstalled it.. with the help from a friend

thank GAWD he was clearing his field.. he has land kitty corner to mine and was out there tending it today, stopped, popped by to 'chat' then I asked him for 10 mins.. went smoothly and in less than 10 mins.. so YAY.. I can put those rafters up now.. everything's set for tomorrow IF I can move.. darndest thing.. slipped off the ladder minutes after he left so was out of commission for pretty much the rest of the day.. didn't break anything but man.. I'm sure it'll leave a mark that'll teach me to walk on wet grass then climb an aluminum ladder

the rain has stopped.. finally.. and we're looking at a sunny day taday AND tamarra.. YAY.. so.. doing the edge trimming taday and mowin the lawn tamarra, givin it a chance ta dry out a tad first

high today of 82F but'll feel like 90F so I best get movin on that trimmin..

it's finally cooling down out there.. we're at 70F now and man does the cool breeze feel good.. still raining but.. I'll take it if it means cooler temps..

I actually designed and built a special ramp to elevate my ride on mower so I could fix one of the blades.. mind you.. I couldn't make the nut budge but it's been flooded now with WD40 a few times so I'm hoping my next attempt will get that blade OFF.. it's been raining since tho so haven't been able to try again YET.. guess that's what I get for building it OUTside instead of INside the shed where the mowers stored.. oh well..

I also measured all the distances where the rafters are going on the 2x6x18.. ready to install after the rain stops.. and once I get that 2x6x16 repositioned I'll be able to install all the rafters.. seems the idea I had didn't work.. oh well.. back to housework I go..
