fun cheesy fact..

Increased temperatures, heat waves, and droughts are no ‘gouda’ for future cheese production quality, according to researchers. Canada is one of the top cheese-producing countries in the world.

In 2024, Statistics Canada estimated that Canadians consumed about 15.24 kilograms of cheese per person. But whether you’re an expert cheese monger or a casual enjoyer, your cheese future supply may face a meltdown thanks to climate change.

Droughts and heat waves impact more than just human health—they also impact animals, including the cows whose milk we use for quality cheese. But when those cows are under stress or have less access to grass for grazing on, their milk quality suffers, which, in turn, impacts cheese quality.

Plus Italian heatwaves threaten global parmesan cheese supply noway

I stand corrected.. ONE year after WW1.. ma bad.. I'm not an avid war connoisseur so I did some research..

the city was bombed by German heavy Gotha bombers and by zeppelins.. so it must've looked pretty devastating.. plus the Parisians suffered epidemics of typhoid and measles with a deadly outbreak of Spanish influenza during the winter of 1918-19 that killed thousands of Parisians...

this was Paris.. and money or no.. I wouldn't go.. noway but, that's just me.. guess Slim it'd be BYOP if you DID go back in time along with a few other shots just to stay alive.. scared and I'm not talking "shots of tequila" either whoa

watched Signal One 2026 with Isabelle Fuhrman, David Thewlis, Josh Hutcherson & Dennis Quaid

It tells the story of a computer scientist who is recruited by a tech billionaire to work on a project that could change humanity's place in the universe.

interesting concept.. new take on the existence of alien life.. good for a watch

IMDb gives this a 5.5.. I give it a 6.8 for originality

Hey now was I supposed to sugar coat it rofl rofl

Actually a lot of those things use to bug the heck out of me back when I was a mod for we would have to delete like 6-7 post instead of just the main one that started it. Now I just by pass those threads all together..

Scammer threads well now it seems some feel they have to start a new thread about scammers often instead of just posting on the 50 others that are out there.laugh

nope... no sugar coating required laugh

omg I bet there was far too many huh..

If I could change where I live at present , it would be Sweden.....I was informed last night that the gals dont wear panties on a regular basis .....Hmmmmm!!!

And if I could turn back time, then I would turn it back to Paris in the 1920s....and party on with all the great writers and Jazz musicians of that time ...

don't tell me there's no flights outta TO to Sweden..?? it may not be that easy for you to change where you live.. but you can always visit bigsmile ..

wow.. 1920 is only 2 yrs after WW1.. they might've had good writers'n musicians but not a time I'd wanna visit.. this is your "dream" tho.. enjoy drinker

watched The Death of Robin Hood 2026 with Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer & Bill Skarsgard

Grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, Robin Hood finds himself gravely injured after a battle he thought would be his last. In the hands of a mysterious woman, he is offered a chance at salvation.

Interesting take on a legendary figure. Not a rewatcher in my book but definitely worth a look.. kinda keeps you on the edge of your seat tho. Set in year 1247, a very violent time indeed.

IMDb gives this a 6.. I give this an 8.2 for it's acting and cinematography..

Ohh my gf, I must be a sucker for punishment for sure....

I carried all the furniture out of the house to the driveway, washed it all down, spray painted it one can at a time.( For that was as long as I could take the heat} then went over the porch and caulked all the areas that needed it. Seems that was not enough for me, contractor had left some white paint in a can so I decided I needed to touch up the paint.. Got that done...

I have 2 wicker fans on the wall.. Did not want to remove so cut cardboard that I could slide around behind the areas where I needed to paint, and spray painted those while on the wall..

Took the hanging wicker bird cages and put them in the shower to wash those and a few more items..

Once I got it all done I vacuumed and then brought all the furniture back inside to put on the enclosed porch..

Went to turn off my ac in my room and well it felt so good back there and bed was so inviting I laid down for I was sore.. Made myself get back up after an hour and headed to the shower and yes back to bed after snacking on some roasted chicken..

All I can say is I'm moving mighty slow this morning.. Got my coffee and deciding if I even want to cook breakfast or not...

surprised this is TG today ---->

that about right laugh

surprised

by all means TG.. don't hold back laugh

there's a lotta truth in what you've posted.. and I'll own up to my crap..

cuz admittedly.. blushing I will sometimes post that the OP has deactivated.. in my defense tho.. I'm only doing that so others won't waste their time responding and asking questions of the OP only to wait forever for an answer.. that'll never come.. "the road ta hell is paved in good intentions" so moving forward.. fug y'all laugh

as for scammers.. yeah.. I concur.. they're everywhere.. but they really REALLY pizz me off.. like get a real job why don'tcha cuz I ain't sharing any of my hard earned cash with you NOR do I want you fugging up my world cuz you think it's fun to mess with it.. rant I've had my identity & banking info stolen and it's absolutely no walk in the park trying to get it back from those idiots hands OR having to change everything.. but I guess it's simpler to just sit on their lazy azz's and let their fingers do the walking thru someone elses life cuz they can't make one for themselves.. grumble the disrespectful crud..

I can get offtopic at times, I admit it.. even in a real life conversation I can get side tracked.. staring at that shiny penny.. drool

oh gf.. THIS last one is one of my top pet peeves.. I'm glad you mentioned it.. we've ALL had chit thrown at us that we've survived, witnessed first hand or lived thru that makes us who we are today.. but to whine about it? noway I agree with ya TG.. "suck it up buttercup.. cuz there's others out there WAY worse off than you"
