I think you're missing a couple things in the profile:

1) What are you looking for? It says you want a woman for dating, but give the girls an idea of what you'll do together. Talk about what you find attractive, let them know what you want.

2) Talk about your expectations or dreams for the future. Having plans for the future shows stability and drive, whereas having no plans shows a lack of initiative and a general sense of being lost.

And finally, try the mutual match button or post more on the forums.

Best o' luck,
-D.

I think that people get too paranoid about their partner's exes. I got tricked into going out to eat with my ex from over three years ago just last week and I have no feelings for her whatsoever. But it was just dinner, and I was polite and didn't rip into her for anything that I could have and when the night was over I left and got a little peace of mind.

I've got a hometown girl who never seems to pay me heed, I'd probably end up giving it to her if I had to choose right away.

Otherwise, I'm a pack rat and I'd probably save it until I met the "perfect person".

Aww shucks, I just missed 4:20 here on the east coast. I guess I'll have to wait until it's 4:20 in Chicago...

And....sometimes people will "add" substances to the mj and not tell those that are smoking with them.....you have to be careful and be able to trust where it came from. You will never find anyone that is "just smoking weed" to get redneck, violent, hateful....anything like that...it simply mellows you out...that is all....what do you think the native americans were smoking in those peace pipes?

I've heard that argument before but it just never sat right with me. Why would anyone add a substance like PCP or cocaine to an amount of MJ? It sells for much higher if it's not lacing the weed, I mean coke can be turned into crack if the pusher is really looking to make a crazy profit.

But yes, it is very important to trust your source whenever dealing with any kind of illegal drug, more specifically those with low toxicity levels such as heroin or cocaine.

What Izzie has said about the guy only being stoned can happen. It happened to me back in high school, I was 17, he was 36. He was a friend of the guy throwing the party and was boasting about how he never drinks. So I hung out around him feeling like I was safe........until he came back in the house afer smoking a joint in the backyard, took me into the backroom and tried to rape me.

And if it makes you all so calm, maybe you should fire one up now and calm down, because the OP asked a yes or no question....not just "Who agrees with him"

Well the question at hand would have to be this:

Do you think that the individual was disturbed or did the drug make him do it? He was a 36 year old hanging out at a party with you (I'm guessing it was a high school party) and after he smoked he tried to get all handsy or what have you.

Is it the individual or the substance? In your opinion.

Some people do get psychologically addicted to pot, but I don't think physical dependencies ever arise, at least not in any study I've come across.

Sounds like the chick has some major issues of her own. No need to let it bog you down. Just be easy bro.

Yeah that is true.

She emailed me like four times, telling me off and saying how she wished some one would kick my ugly butt or so and some how she thinks it was the 10th time I treated her like whatever way she was thinking. I am thinking WTF I never treated her badly not once.. she was the one with the mouth and being rude about signing off line and all. She nut's and after my last email I just blocked her email so she can't email me any more.

Thank goodness, because I do not need some one who is nuts and have too many issues etc.

Yikes, she did all of that?! I'd be blocking somebody like that too!

Hmmm....wishing someone would kick your butt? I wonder if that is in the reportable category.

Not sure.. since she has been emailing my personal email account.

But I'm not worried since she has no clue where I live etc.

We can block people on our personal addy?

Yes you can also block any unwanted email address under aol or I would think hotmail might have it too not for sure though.

But I for sure blocked her.. lol watch she comes back with another email account and tells me off, I'll just keep blocking her or if all things get comes down to it I'll change my email address even though I had my personal one off this site for like years now.

I love how some people waste their time telling you off because they're so angry about something, especially when it's so small. To believe that it's actually worth the time and effort to some people.

Why are you all so defensive if someone doesn't approve of it?

Were not defensive, were trying to teach you the truth. You have been lied to for years smokin

I'm anti-drugs. I'm not closed minded. Been there, done that, grew up. Worked in a drug rehab. Have a person close to me in recovery. Went with them to NA and AA mtgs. I know a lot about it hence...I'm anti-drugs.

I didn't mean you specifically. But I'm not trying to argue that drugs are good for you, because no drug is healthy and most legal drugs have terrible side effects. You can overdose on Aspirin or over-the-counter sleep aids.

But drugs are hardly the biggest problem we face today, in my opinion.

EDIT: mistype.

Not if the law made it illegal to wear a black top.
Not all laws make sense you know, and it's up to us as a progressive society and world leader to get our priorities straight.
Maybe if marijuana wasn't illegal we'd have more cops focusing on rapes.

but a law is a law.

you dont see the conection?? try looking up the people who have raped and murdered and gotten lesser sentances because they have agreed to drug rehabilitiation..

OMG...if you are so freaking angelic why on earth did you even come into this thread?
jsut a thought
try being raped.

and while you are at the trial of the guy who raped you.. you know what he gets??
he gets a 5 year suspended sentance on the condition that he attends drug rehabilitation. because he was stoned out of his mind when he raped you, and despite the DNA that says he did it.. he doesnt remember much about that night.

try that!! and after you try that.. then feel freee to talk to me about not seeing the conection!
the laws are there for a reason!
THINK ABOUT IT!
oh but let me guess "you wouldnt do that"?
he was a pre med student! top of his class.. prominent family..
he "wouldnt ever do anything of that nature in his right mind" ether according to his lawyer!
so have a super day..
and hope you get stoned out of your mind!

Well clearly there's a bigger issue there than drug use. If you get drunk and murder someone then the murder is obviously the issue and there's no need to charge them with public intoxication.

The law is there for a reason, yes. Some choose to obey it, others don't. We take risks when we break the law and if we get caught, then there's nobody to blame but ourselves.

 Early last year,I met a girl on here from Tennessee that brought a quarter pound of pot to my house when she came to visit me:smile: No joke.

Mirror,

I wouldn't have liked that. I don't let drugs come into my home.
 I was just happy to have a woman come all the way from Tennessee to visit me. She used to be on here all the time. The 420 thread used to be her thread.smokin

Haha so then I take it her little package wasn't such a surprise? But damn... a quarter pound... that's a LOT of pot.

You missed your chance. So don't look to me for comfort when you realize the grass on the other side is brown.

And maybe you should treat people with a little more respect in the future. Just because some people don't wear their hearts on their sleeves doesn't mean they don't have one.

drinks I'll drink to that.

So lets see... people who smoke, people who drink, people who do meth, people who do heroin, and people who like pills.
I will always hang with the smokers, and thats because I know there won't be any bad vibes.
I didn't forget about totally straight people. I put them in the same catagory with smokers, but there usually not as relaxed and easygoing.
and then there are those of us who are clean and dry. i dont smoke, do meth, do weed, herion, take pills.. and i only drink once a month or every other month.
there are things in my life that are much more importaint to me than stupid momentary highs..

trust me.. i DO know your "benifits" of weed usage..
i have done it and paid the price for my doing it..

you wanna break the law.. that is your choice.
however.. you do not need to tell all of us about it.

repeatedly!

Nor do you need to listen. If the potheads want to talk about their herb then let them. That's the beauty of free speech.

One mans trash, they say...

I respect your opinion and aversion to cannabis, heroin, meth, and all the other drugs that are available, but it is just an opinion and everyone has every right to disagree.

I really hope that the Palestinians get what are coming to them in this one. And I don't mean that in a negative way. Israel has no right to exist where it does and the United States government has put unneeded support into the region for strategic reasons.

Yes, the Holocaust was a terrible tragedy, but giving the most disputed territory in history to a religious institution, especially to the religious minority that the Jews are, was an incredibly reckless move. It would be one thing if we gave them an uninhabited landmass or somewhere from within our own borders. Instead, we displaced an entire race of people in favor of a religious organization, which goes against the very principles of the United States Constitution in my opinion.

The land does not belong to those people because a book says that it does. If other novels were as popular as the Bible or the Torah then would we follow what they said? Would anyone send their ten year old to a strange school to learn magic? How about New York City? Does NYC really need any protection when the Fantastic Four are just a call away?

People have been fighting over the "Holy Land" for generations, centuries even. Why we just added fifteen tons of C4 to that fire, I don't know.

All in all, I hope the state of Israel is disbanded and that the Palestinians are finally given a fighting chance. I hope that those people who were displaced from their homes and forced into refugee camps because of the workings of a madman in Germany may one day occupy the land that is rightfully theirs.

Gaza is the smaller portion of Palestine, and Israel's attack on the weakest part of the nation and their attempts to cut off UN aid is truly a sign of cowardice.

Zion will fall. And when it does maybe humanity will rise above this petty faith in a higher being to guide them and will instead begin to rationally reason with one another and come to a peaceful solution.

That depends which ex it was.

For #1 I would just ask her why she called me, and if she had literally nobody else I'd consider it.

But #2 would be more trouble than she's worth and would probably skip town so I'd refuse.
