I havent written a poem in at least a year, and tonight this came out. So I will let it be the first poem of my next book, "Thoughts from Within (part 2)". I wanna share it, and this moment, with the people that are always there for me...you. If your reading this, I love you, and thank you for always being there for me. ~Kitten~

Quick Sand

"I dont know where im going,
but I sure know where ive been".
That lyric, is so damn cliche'
Ill cringe, if I hear it again.

In spite of that, I wonder
I just cant wait to see
what will become, of this life that im living
what will become, of me?

I feel like im in quick sand
and even though I try
I just cant, seem to, move forward
I sit, and I wonder, why?

"Life is what you make it".
So I guess,its time to start
to gather the broken pieces of me
ive watched, just fall apart.

I need some motivation
surviving cancer,should be enough
but its still an uphill battle
that never, stops being tough.

I know the way im living
has surely, got to end
and I need to do things differently
for my life, to begin, again.

Im always looking for "HIM"
my lover, and my friend
its gotta stop, so I can get on top
of the things, that REALLY matter, again.

Ive told people what they do wrong
not just once, or twice
but im starting to feel, like a hypocrite
I should follow my own advice.

So "Giddy up, and go girl",
ill tell myself, again
and maybe...just mayyyyyyyybe, this time
my life will finally begin.

A guy goes to the supermarket and notices an attractive woman waving at him. She says hello. He's rather taken aback because he can't place where he knows her from.
So he says, 'Do you know me?'
To which she replies, 'I think you're the father of one of my kids.' Now his mind travels back to the only time he has ever been unfaithful to his wife and says, 'Are you the stripper from the bachelor party that I made love to on the pool table with all my buddies watching while your partner whipped my butt with wet celery???'
She looks into his eyes and says calmly, 'No, I'm your son's teacher.'

I have never seen a person upgrading in these social network sites wonder if they work part time at McDonalds :p
