Memories give us experience
Experience provides us with knowledge
Knowledge is the fundation of all maturity
So the more memories you have
The more experienced you are
The more experienced you are
The more knowledge you acquire
The more knowledge you acquire
the more mature you turn out to be.

Memories, aren't they great to have!

Have a very good birth day. Time passes us by so fast that we really
don't know where it has gone. So enjoy today and every day after to the
fullest.
May God bless you.

Your roller coaster may be on the down side but it has to come up to
brighter days. Do not despair.

Besides you have us to take you up.

WHY PUERTO RICANS ARE SO COOL ?????

Estamos "j..........", pero tenemos unos cuantos puntos que nos
distinguen...

Why Puerto Ricans are so cool...
We are a mix of the best of every race.
Our legal drinking age is 18.
We can care less what other people think of us.

We do everything under the sun... because we CAN!
Because even though we are a territory we are still a whole NATION.
We don't need to take vacations to be in a tropical paradise.
In PR everything is really close.
I can call you sir ("USTED"), and insult you in the same sentence.
Our Spanish is completely different than any other Spanish speaking

World" to be paved.
86% of the rum drunk in the U.S. is from Puerto Rico.
We have more female engineers than any other country. (and you still
call us machistas?)
We know how to party, without absurd curfew laws.
We are the major RUM manufacturer of the world.
The bats for the Movie Batman Forever were filmed in Las Cuevas de
Camuy, P.R.
We invented the MayoKetchup!
We kicked the DREAM TEAM's ass
Puerto Rico has one of the world's highest productivity ratios.
Salsa music was the fastest growing genre in the last 20 years.
Four Puerto Ricans received the Congress Medal of Honor: Eurípides
Rubio, Carlos Lozada, Héctor Santiago y Fernando Luis Ledesma García.
Only 4 baseball players have 2 Home Runs in the same Inning; 3 of them
are Puerto Ricans (Roberto Clemente, Roberto Alomar and Carlos Baerga)
Tito Trinidad never went to the Olympics but defeated 4 gold medal
champions.
NUMBER ONE HYUNDAI RECORD HOLDER FOR THE MOST AUTOS SOLD "IN THE WORLD"
IS FROM BAYAMON, PUERTO RICO (HYUNDAI DE BAYAMON)
A Puerto Rican, Nellie Toledo, designed the 1984 Camaro Berlinetta.

NOT TO BAD FOR AN ISLAND THAT IS JUST 100 MILES LONG X 35 MILES WIDE...

I received this by email and just thought some of you may like to know
more about the ISLAND.

What caught my eye was the "no commitment" thing. If you go out with a
much younger girl and seek no commitment, it only suggest to me that
your interest is sex.

Now on the subject of younger girls going out with older men, all I've
heard is that older men have the money to pay for things that younger
men can't. They may have a great time, but I beleive that they lose some
self respect each time they go out....still thinking "no commitment".
They use their looks and youth to acquire fun and "games". Sometimes I
wonder what they think when they marry. Would they allow their children
to do the same things? Or do they wish they had not done all the things
they did? Age does tend to make people think and re=evaluate their
lives.

Yes, I must admit that there are those that make fabulous couples and
became committed, but those are rare.

Yes, I must agree also. I have been where you are now... I ahve thought
about leaving, but instead I just did not enter into forums and just
peeked in every once in a while. Met some people on here that have
helped me overcome some depressing moments (they may not know it, but
they did ) and made some friends I don't really want to loose.

Just let your account be and wonder in when you feel up to it. Oh, do
not seek for you may not be found, just wonder around and maybe you will
be found. If not, you still have a haven of friends that care, love and
respect you as a person.

Things do happen for a purpose and you are on here because something
good is coming your way. Do not dispare.

Recieved an email about third graders writing ot God, Darn things these
children think.

1. Dear God:
Instead of having people die and making new ones. Why don’t you keep
the ones you already have.
Jane

2. Dear God:
I went to this wedding and they kissed in front of everybody. Is that
okay?
Neil

3. Dear God:
I think the stapler is one of your greatest inventions.
Ruth M.

4. Dear God:
In bible times, did they really talk that fancy?
Jennifer

5. Dear God:
I think about you sometimes. Even when I’m not praying.
Elliott

6. Dear God:
I am American, what are you?
Robert

7. Dear God:
Thank you for the baby brother, but what I prayed for was a puppy.
Joyce

8. Dear God:
I bet it is very hard for you to love all of everybody in the whole
world. There are 4 people in our family and I can never do it.
Nan
9. Dear God:
Please put a Mother Holiday between Christmas and Easter. There is
nothing good in there now.
Ginny

10. Dear God:
If you watch in church on Sunday, I will show you my new shoes.
Mickey D.

11. Dear God:
If we come back as something. Please don’t let me be Jennifer Horton,
because I hate her.
Denise

12. Dear God:
I would like to live 900 years, like the guy in the bible.
Love, Chris

13. Dear God:
If you give me a genie lamp, like Alladin, I will give you anything you
want, except my money or my chess set.
Raphael

14. We read Thos. Edison made light. But in Sun. School they said you
made it. So I bet he stole your idea.
Sincerely, Donna

15. Dear God:
If you let the dinsor not extinct, we would not have a country. You did
the right thing.
Jonathan

16. Dear God:
Please send Dennis Clark to a different camp this year.
Peter

17. Dear God:
Maybe Cain and Abel would not kill each so much if they had their own
rooms. It works with my brother.
Larry

Hope you like it.

IAM, I've been in and out of the circuit; and don't really understand
what's going on.

All I can say is that the more people you have the more different veiws
you have on a subject. And if you add the ones that like to control and
impose their veiws, well, you have arguments instead of discussions....

I sometimes by-pass a thread if I consider it offensive or arrogant...
not worth entering or commenting on it.

JSH is such a wonderful place to unload problems and relax. Shame it has
come to that!

I am fine, the weather is another thing - raining.

Mac, what you just said is fine, except you put it in plural:
"ustedes" should be "usted", unless you ment all who are on this site
now.
